Tried Tēla today for the first time and was disappointed. My boyfriend ordered a burger and fries and I ordered a Buddha bowl for $17 and added chicken for $4. The burger and fries were really good! My Buddha bowl was pretty good, but the chicken was so incredibly dry that I didn't eat it.Our server dropped our food off and didn't come back until she brought us the check. That was when I was able to let her know the chicken was so dry it tasted like turkey. She apologized, and offered to have a new chicken breast made for me, but by this point we had already eaten and were ready to go. There was never an offer of a refund for the visibly dry chicken I hadn't eaten and even left on my plate after I boxed up my left overs to take home. It was only $4, but it just felt kind of icky and disappointing. We'll skip Tēla next time.
Just visited Tela for the first time for lunch, and was pleasantly surprised. If your traveling down the 75 it's a little off the route but worth it if your looking for a unique local spot. I went with a group of 9, and they easily accommodated us with great food, and good service. Everyone really enjoyed their dishes. I will definitely be back on my next visit to the area.
Very professional staff. Bartenders are very good at what they do. Pretty much every sauce and dressing is made in house. All very delicious. Service still the highlight, though the food is always great. Was good to bring toddler. Their mac and cheese is great portion.
Had a great time with friends here. The service was outstanding. Our drinks and apps were great. My issue was with the fish and chips. The color of the fish indicated fryer oil was dirty. While I ate it and did not complain at the time it was disappointing. The color indicated the fryer oil needed to be changed and consequently it had a burnt taste. Overall I would give them another try because the atmosphere and the service were great making for an enjoyable evening by all.
We were so excited to try this place, but were let down. The service was horrible and our food was cold. We had to wait 20 minutes to get our drinks. It wasn’t crowded so I wouldn’t think low staff was a problem. There was one worker standing there doing nothing the entire time we were there. If our waitress needed help, he could have stepped in to help.
My Girlfriend lives in Wyoming so she knows this restaurant she knows I'm a chef and thought I would like it. It was totally amazing food was excellent. Chef Travis Greene is doing a good job definitely would recommend it highly
Had a great time here, intimate bar table outside. Nice atmosphere, server was such a sweetie. The outside patio was covered with heat lamps, so cozy. Ordered some cowboy wings and brussel sprouts, both amazing ?. Will have to go again soon!
First time here, for daughters bday. She had short ribs/ Mac and cheese. I had shrimp and grits. Shared the truffle parm fries with aioli. Choc mousse for dessert. Everything was fantastic!!! The flavors were so good and rich.
This is an alright place. The food is amazing and the waitress we had was amazing. It seemed like she was the only server there besides the cook in the back and bartender, who were also incredibly busy. I did see another person, a manager I suppose, not busy at all. When we walked in, he "greeted" us with a terrible attitude, super unfriendly. He did a lot of standing around and disappearing. Never saw him with a plate in his hand, like he was serving nor cleaning up. This left a sour taste in my mouth for the possible management of this place.Be ready to pay a lot for this place. Prices are high but it's understandable when mostly everything is from scratch.
Had not been here in a few years but stopped in for dinner last week and loved it. The food and cocktails were excellent and the service was just as good. We will definitely be back. My daughter and I had the Shrimp and Grits... so delicious. Oh and the pretzel bites with caramel garlic sauce are amazing.
