Ordered a dish with sunny side up egg. Came out and was basically raw. When we pointed this out, they took the dish back, blasted it in a microwave with the plastic cups on the plate and brought it back out. Should be considered unacceptable, it smelled like melted plastic. Not only that, the appetizer we ordered came out at the same time as the other entrees. They brought the check and made us pay before we even finished eating. Definitely not a class act! Also there is an absurd 8.5% "supply chain surcharge" over top of everything, and it counts into the subtotal which they make you tip on top of. Absolutely ridiculous prices for mediocre food.
My first time at Taste of Belgium. I used to frequent the Ruby Tuesday that was in this space, so I was curious to see what had changed. It was brighter inside and seemed more open space -wise. I had the Bistro Burger with bacon and goat cheese and a side salad. The burger was great, cooked to a perfect medium. Salad was okay. The craft beer selection is tremendous, featuring quite a few Belgian beers that I've never had.My server seemed to be a little inexperienced but was friendly. I was pretty much the only customer in the place on a Thursday night. Hopefully word will get out soon. I'll be back.
We love Taste of Belgium. This will probably be the last time we go to this location. We're not jerks. We know that short staffing can lead to long wait times, not getting timely refills and what not. We're more than happy to wait, however when we sat down, there was a small laminated card that told us there would be a surcharge added due to shipping issues. Hard times, sure. My son and I each got the Chicken & Waffle, my fiancé got eggs and bacon and we each had a soda. We waited about 50 minutes for the food, which is understandable, although my portion size being half the size of my sons...was not. Finally, the surcharge was much more than we thought it would be: $17! For my small, three member family, with tip (we usually tip 20-25%) was $95!!! The food was good, and anyone can have an off service experience, but we can't really justify this Taste of Belgium at that price point.
We had a great dining experience. The food was great, but our server Adam, made our dining experience excellent. We know first hand how hard the service industry has been working with being short staffed and taking on more than usual rude customers. He was quick, super friendly, professional, helped us with the menu, and was very attentive even after we heard a table being extremely rude to him. My friends and I will definitely be coming back more often.
We were visiting Ohio for my birthday weekend & this restaurant was near a shopping center we went to, so when we were ready for lunch, we thought we would try. Big mistake & waste of $50.00. The service was fine, but the food was so gross! I ordered Barbeque Belgium Wings & thank goodness that the waiter asked me if I had ever had Belgium BBQ due to unique flavor & suggested I get it on the side. I tried it and it was awful. It tasted like fruity vinegar. The waiter was very kind and offered other sauces and I chose ranch. Even ranch couldn't drown out the the taste of dry/overcooked wings. I also tried my boyfriend's food and it was equally terrible. He ordered chicken & waffle. The chicken had a really bad tasting sauce on it & his waffle had a weird taste, almost pretzel-y. I will not return when in the area again & am now apprehensive to even try Belgium food again.
It was a sign of the times - long wait for food when many tables were empty. We certainly understand and we’re patient with our server. Always good food!
Bella was awesome - she was beyond what she needed to be. Went totally above and beyond for me and my girlfriends
We really enjoyed the restaurant the food was good and our service was really well I would like to think both of our servers we will come back

Good enough food to like it, but wasn’t what we were expecting. Service was distracted with a party of 20, so take that into consideration. I thought it was a little more upscale than what was provided. Wouldn’t go again.
