This place is AMAZING! The atmosphere is Mexican 50's Diner, the service by Rachelle today was impeccable, and the food was authentic and done to perfection, absolutely delicioso! If you are looking for REAL Mexican food done right and at a great price in Cincinnati, this is "the hole in the wall" you've been looking for. Come here and eat, right now, you'll thank me later.
This was our first visit to Taqueria San Marcos. Blew me out of the water. We got horchata, piña fresca, tacos al pastor, and the barbacoa torta. Food and drinks were fantastic all for a fair and affordable price.10/10 recommend and will be back.
We ordered from here a few weeks ago via online, and were missing two barbacoa tacos and the food was poorly assembled. When I went to pick up my food it was just a young girl at the counter and a young boy in the back. My tacos were a complete mess with the toppings all over the tortillas (which made it hard to realize we were short a couple tacos), but they asked what tacos I ordered and offered to remake them. I got the newly wrapped food and figured it would all be good at that point but when I got home I found that only the meat was in the tortillas and nothing else (and again, still short two tacos). The meat was good but honestly with how much was messed up I can't trust ordering from here again.
love love love. i will definitely be back, often! came here for the first time for lunch, had a few tacos. service was great, food was delish, and the place inside is super cute. 11/10. i recommend.
Best tacos in Cincinnati. If you have not discovered them yet, get in your car and head to this little shop in Norwood. You will not be disappointed, well worth every dollar spent.
Excellent food and service . Very authentic. Small restaurant with limited seating. Very casual place. This will become our go-to Mexican place in Cincy.
If I could give a 0 I would. My family and myself have never felt so disrespected and discriminated against. When we arrived there were two ladies just getting done eating and no one else. A huge group of men come and then another two. We get drinks and wait to order. The guy take everyone's order before ours and then served everyone before us. Needless to say we walked out. Wouldn't recommend this place.
Seriously a hidden gem and my favorite taqueria to get away from downtown, you wouldn’t even know it’s there if you’ve never been, nestled between houses in the neighborhood, Taqueria San Marcos offers super authentic tacos and Mexican fare at very affordable prices. The crew there are always friendly and the food is phenomenal, my personal favorite was the lengua.
The food was AMAZING. Can’t wait to eat here again.
If it would let me give 500 stars, I would. Extremely good food, and very unique compared to the sea of similar seeming restaurants whose food all seems the same. There are not enough cuss words in the English language to sufficiently emphasize how good their red salsa is. I've never tasted anything like it. I'd guess that there is some sherry or burgundy in it.Probably even sophisticated palates won't be disappointed.
