Unbelievable. Excellent food. Excellent service. Great place for pick up or casual dine-in. Portions are good and priced fairly and a good selection of the usual hot sauces everyone likes. Dont sleep on Don Chago!
Really disappointed by the recent changes there.We used to enjoy this place quite a bit and would regularly get takeout. Sometime in the past few months something seems to have changed. The name changed and also the finally got a web site; I was excited about that stuff since I could now order online.But the prices went up a bit and more importantly the food took a big dive.The burritos and burrito bowls don't contain rice or beans, nor have the option to add. In what way is that a burrito? A chicken burrito we ordered literally just had lettuce and chicken in it...On one item we selected corn salsa as an option and it was just plain corn. Not salsa at all.It's really rough. We liked this place so much when it first opened and now we just can't anymore. The chain place nearby is better. We are sad.
*Update: Table service has been added but they are serving the exact same menu items and the prices have jumped at least 50% on everything. :(Great menu including street tacos, quesadillas, burritos and nachos. Fresh made chips and salsas with just the right flavors. Service is fast and friendly. Large, clean dining area or for takeout. Will definitely be back!
I have loved this place for about 2 years but now that they sold it I will never go back. Don Chago is my nemesis, ruined such a good thing. The al pastor wasn’t as good as it used to be and the meat and pineapples were cut in so many different sizes. Prices went way up, and they serve burgers too?? It used to be such good, affordable, authentic food but it’s now a cheesy Mexican place. Will not be going back. Was also freezing cold in the restaurant.
This place is always so tasty! I've tried many things on their menu and I have nothing but good things to say about all of them. The staff is also always really nice. I love this place!
The place was freezing! not one customer took their jacket off while in the place! in addition i waited almost 30 mins for 4 asada tacos chips and salsa water. i was on my way to cashier for a refund when finally brought food. it was ice cold and my chips were in a to go bag? have to say though the tacos were good even cold. cilantro onions lime with verde sauce. yum! I've been here before it was better the 1st time. they were busy since it was Saturday night, but seemed very disorganized. I just wanted hot food and warm restaurant . failed on both. plus its was 17.78 kinda expensive for 4 tacos. prolly wont go back.

Best street tacos in the city. Al pastor tacos de trompo!!! Takes me back to Puerto Vallarta. Viva Mexico.
