Ordered my employees lunch and ended up with a whole staff with food poisoning. Meat tasted off and not very seasoned for taco meat. Portions and price were nice but the after effects not so much. Hard to run a business with most of my people taking turns to use the bathroom screaming and praying for relief.
Taco Casa is one of my wife's favorite places . It was her Birthday and she wanted to go there for dinner. She wasn't disappointed . We were on the other side of town and took a chance. It worked out great.
Taco Casa is always good when we go. We get there Taco Salad with everything. Last visit we ordered 3 smalls and 1 large to go. Got all the way home which is about a 35 to 40 minute drive opened the bags and saw they gave us 3 Junior size instead of the Smalls we ordered. But overall it is always good. Next time we'll have to check the bags before we leave. We've never had this happen before.
Its been a couple years since I've been here and its has gone down hill. It looks good but taste awful. They used cold canned tomatoes. My sancho boat was soggy with the added canned tomato juice. When I removed the tomatoes it removed half my sour cream, so the $.57 I paid for it was for nothing. I only ate two bites and just couldn't stomach more. I couldn't even eat my burgers, gross.
I started eating Taco Casa taco salads in 1980 on Short Vine in Clifton when I went to UC. Have eaten there 3 to 4 times/year since, til COVID, I was ready for a Taco Casa taco salad just like I remembered. I was sorely disappointed. After about 3 bites, I uncovered the nasty meat?!! It was burnt or just old, not like anything I’d ever gotten at this restaurant. That took care of my cravings. I had gotten it to go, bad idea, they weren’t counting on me eating in the parking lot. I took it back in and the lady who made it offered to make me another one! Why would I want another one of those??? If you had something better, why did you give me this? What a bummer, I guess everything changes. She didn’t offer to refund my money. I wish I’d thought to take a picture I could send. I doubt if I’ll be back.
Had a very bad experience worker seems to be very rude to black people. I clearly stated how I wanted my taco salad made. She makes it incorrectly and then tells me she wasn’t remaking it. I think after today’s visit I want return,this isn’t the first time she has been rude but today was it for me. How do u run a business have rude employees take people money and then don’t give correct order or try to remake or correct it. I want be returning.
Ordered chicken quesadilla and it was bad. Good that I didn’t try anything else. Asked to put jalapeños, but they didn’t add that as well. And also it was too salty.
Good food. Service was a bit slow, but that's not usual for them. Most stores are short handed.
Best taco salads ever, and had a crunchy taco... it was awesome! There was 4 times as much meat as a taco bell taco! I would recommend it to taco lovers!
Delicious taco salad. Definitely a place to get fast and delicious food. Service was great as well. A must try and repeat.
