This might be an outrageous statement, but I liked the sauce more than Eli’s. Perfect brisket with deep smoke rings. I’m usually not a fan of baked beans or vinegar slaw, however, these were next level tasty.The owner is super nice and happened to be there to help us with a catering order. Her recommendation made it easy to make decisions.I will update with pictures after the event. Very happy
We booked the Sweets and Meats BBQ food trailer for a corporate lunch. Everything was excellent! The owner was really easy to work with, very communicative, and professional. The food was awesome. Would highly recommend.
I enjoyed a 4 layer BBQ box for lunch on the square, it was fantastic. You know the meat is good when you eat it and realize you didn’t even need sauce. The Mac and Cheese was superb mix of creamy and cheeses. Must try if you ever have the chance.
Last night, Sweets and Meats catered our 40+ couples wedding shower. Margi handled our tasting, ordering and was one of the professional staff to attend our event. She is awesome - professional, warm & knowledgeable. Abby was the other staff and a sweetheart. From arrival to clean-up - we were able to enjoy our guests without a worry.Then there was the food - YUMMO. Brisket, pulled pork, mac-n-cheese, beautiful app trays, cornbread....The sauce is delish.Sweets and Meats lives up to it's Google and social media hype. 5+ stars!
The banana pudding is the best I have had in Cincinnati. The pulled meats are really good and the portions are generous. The baked beans and corn bread are also winners. Def try their food truck if you see it, you will be glad you did.
Desserts were good. Mac and cheese was also good, definitely not from a box. Greens had a little heat(just like they should). Pulled pork, rib tips, and the sauce were all yummy. Busy place, support your local restaurants :)
Our wedding guests can’t stop raving about how delicious the food was. Everything was amazing particularly the macaroni and cheese and the cornbread. Set up went really smoothly and communicating with the owner about what we wanted was super easy and she was very kind and easy to work with. We highly recommend sweets n meats.
Kristen was amazing to work with in planning our event. The food was amazing and everyone loved it. The people working the food truck were so kind to our families. We can't wait to work with all of you again!
A nice family owned restaurant with great food. The sides are amazing and their BBQ is so good!! A must try, not a chain restaurant which adds to the appeal.
Tried the pulled chicken, sliced brisket, and rib tips, with mac&cheese and green beans. Everything is a do over except the rib tips. They were tough and dry...maybe it was because it was close to closing time. We will definitely try them again
