My husband and I went to have lunch .They have bad customer service.They said I couldn't use the restroom but let a whole white family use it after I left out but didn't know my husband was still in there. They said they were opening the dining room in January and it's May and I finally made it back just to see no drive thru or dining in come in use a kiosk. My food was dry and I got the buttery Wisconsin burger it's only ten items on the whole menu. They honestly could've stayed closed for this.
First time I went to the drive thru the line was wrapped around the building and not moving at all. Second time, they were closed but the hours said they should've been open. I finally got to order today: line was short and they were just as quick as any fast food place. The food was perfect,just as good as it was before they closed and they got my order right. I missed it! Hope they can stay consistent.
The app wasn't working so that sucked, sat in the drive thru for easily a half hour. Only did this cause it was the first time I've ate s&s in years. So I was waiting regardless. Food was exactly how I wanted it and tasted better than ever. To the point I'd tell the staff "Great Job".Wish they would bring back the dinning room or make the drive thru faster and or fix the app. That's Only reason for 4 stars.
The staff is very nice. However, basically no one works there. They have no dine in or carry out - just the drive through. They put up cones so that once you're in you can't escape and I waited 55 minutes for 3 milkshakes, a burger and fries. Since they reopened, the burgers are half the size and the fries have definitely changed. I do not recommend and won't be back until they have more staff. I understand waiting for fresh food, but that place is out of hand. I love the food despite the size difference, but nobody can ve expected to wait that long. They are on Doordash, but no dasher would wait that long for an order.
As of now I've been sitting in the drive-through for 25 minutes I'm one car away from the window. Haven't seen anyone yet. As of now the rating is a one. I will update if the food ever gets to me let you know if it was worth the wait.
Come on man. Really?I thought the milkshake was bad enough only filled 3/4 the way. Value meals aren't a value when the portions are cut back
I would give zero starts if I could. I went through a week ago and waited 30 minutes in line for food. I understand there is a staff shortage, and I worked in fast food for 5+ years, plus the manager at the window was super friendly so I didn’t mind. ( even tipped him 5$ ) fast forward to today and we waited 20 minutes to order 20 minutes to get to the window and then waited over 20 minutes for them to give me my food after I paid. I noticed the food sitting in the window for about 5 minutes when I started honking ( no worker was at the window) and then waited another 5 minutes before someone came to give us our food. I told the man at the window that I wanted it all remade that it had been sitting there for ten minutes. He told me that it hadn’t been and wasn’t remaking it and started arguing with my boyfriend . I knew the owner was in and so I called to speak with him and ended up getting his son on the phone who was actually the manager who was arguing with my boyfriend. The OWNERS SON told me that I was banned from coming into steal and Sahel and that I was never welcome back because I was pissed he wouldn’t remake my food after it sat for ten minutes. He then continued to call me names and said he could do whatever he wanted because he was the owners son. Now I have been in the food industry as an employee, manger and general manager and would never talk to someone this way especially if I was representing my parents business. He had also told me that we didn’t wait over an hour and that I was lying so I posted my time stamp from live 360 as well:)
The line was all the way around the building. No indoor dining. That being said I was amazed at how fast the line went. I thought it was gonna be a hour wait and it was more like 30 minutes at most. The food and shakes were perfect. My son said it was the best sandwich he ever had.
I was so disappointed. Steak and Shake use to be so good. My first disappointment was finding out they no longer offer the side by side different flavored shakes. I used to get the chocolate and banana one side would be chocolate the other side would be banana and loved it. They told me that they cannot do that anymore. And I said, can't you just put half chocolate and half banana. They said the machine will not let them do that. So disappointing then I ate the sandwich. This sandwich didn't even taste like meat. And I ended up throwing it away. The fries were good
First time trying it and I was impressed. It was a little bit of a wait, but the burgers and shakes are fantastic. I took away one star because my wife's burger was plain and she asked for all the toppings.
