The location is average to almost below average in regards to drive thru access, the sales associates customer service level and also the product being made by the associates. To start off, the drive thru is connected to an intersection and seeing that Starbucks is very popular, world wide , not sure what sense it made to construct this drive thru as is. Secondly , the associates attitudes are very drained and nonchalant , no one wants to do business somewhere they don’t feel welcome. And lastly and most importantly, my iced soy chai with caramel drizzle never comes out perfect like they do at other locations. Today , 6/14/22, I just received iced soy chai… no caramel. Yes it’s minor but I requested a drink customized a certain way, and for $6, I should be getting just what I requested. This will probably be the last day I settle for this Starbucks location just because it’s close to home. Someone needs to send in corporate ASAP.
It was 1pm on a Saturday and there were 4 cars in the drive through. It took 15 minutes just to get to the window and then we still had to wait awhile to get our 2 coffees, banana bread and breakfast sandwich. The girl at the drive through counter was very personable and told us a few jokes but it was sad she had to stall and entertain us because it was taking so long. They were also out of two of the things we tried to order. Overall what we got was good but the wait was too long considering it wasn't a peak time.
Girls were all pretty nice until the short chubby one with the mullet hair cut started. Who wears a mullet in the 2000s? Rude to customers in the Drive through.
I visited this store today. When I got home I realized I must have left my phone there. I called the store, an employee had found my phone a turned it in. Very thankful for great staff! The mocha Frappuccino was good too!
Always seems to be super busy in drive thru but a standard Starbucks. No complaints or compliments.
Not a huge fan of Starbucks coffee (too bitter for me). Love their Dirty Chai Latte and hot cocoa (the best hot cocoa I've ever had!) Always great service and good selection of snacks and quick bites.
We have finally decided to quit going to this location. I don't know what the issue is but our drinks taste like something is missing more often than not. We order standard menu items, cafe mocha, white choc mocha, and they are wrong more often than not. By the time we get home and find out they are wrong again, we don't want to go back and fight either a long drive thru wait or go into the store that has been closed so often recently. It is just such a huge disappointment because it is close and has so much potential. But I'd rather drive to the location near I-74 because they are always superior in length of time in the drive through and taste of the beverages.
I love Starbucks but I'm getting very aggravated with the drive through situation. Staff Is amazing, drinks are amazing.. but you have cars hanging out in the middle of a busy intersection cutting off traffic.
It's a treat for me to get to take my 2 girls to Starbucks in Western Hills on Glenway Ave. We love it even though it's always jam packed and hard to get in the drivethru line cuz the parking lot is so small. It's OK though, it's usually well worth it but the last 2 times we have gone our Vanilla Bean with caramel drizzle has been terrible. The flavor isn't quite right buy mostly it's the texture and the fact that they have been extremely thin! It's basically like drinking milk! The girls were extremely disappointed the other day and thet went into the trash bin. 20 bucks for 3 drinks to go onto the trash.
Since they replaced unprofessional staff, the location’s service/drink quality has definitely improved. Super sweet, perky (w/o caffiene), really good at making Secret Menu Items?, and just plain nice. They always treat my bourgeois a$$ Yorkie like she’s a doggone FDOTUS???♀️?♥️ (see pic for her “fix”)!!!!Now, if they can just work on the INSANE drive thru - whomever designed that should be immediately stripped & flogged! The amount of traffic it causes is ridiculous & off-putting for many patrons when they can easily drive another mile to visit the Starbucks @Western Hills Target location w/o a traffic jam (Glenway = jam @street or parking lot… pick your poison). They get that part together & they will be a main spot in WH!
