Very cute cafe! Love all the decore and how integrated the bee is. They are a locally owened business that cooks everything with locally sourced food. Farm to table.Servers and host were vert nice. There was a 20-30 min wait on Sunday. But that is typical anywhere. We ordered the Broakley and The Avi Scramble. Both really good! I thought that the Avi was very simple, but they elevated it with the avocado, seasoning and the gravy on the potatoes! To top it off, we got the buttermilk cakes con chocolate chips. Sooo fluffly and tasty. The syrup was really good.Must go to place in Cincinnati!

Just had world class service from Katie this am. She made us all feel welcomed and offered suggestions without attitude and with a smile .. Sleepy Bee is lucky to have her!

I was looking for a Downtown Cincinnati alternative to hotel restaurant breakfast, and my wife & I now feel blessed to have found Sleepy Bee. The small storefront is easy to miss as you walk along the north side of the first block of East 4th Street; but once inside, you'll find a surprisingly large modern dining area with thoughtful separation of individual comfortable dining spaces accommodating small & large seatings. Zac F provided very attentive service, and displayed a very helpful knowledge of the menu's unique ingredients & their sources of supply. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her generously portioned Worker Bee breakfast, and thankfully she shared her delicious maple bacon with me. I decided to try a single gluten-free bee cake pancake (made from bee-pollinated flowers) with blueberries & an apricot jam, and it is now tied for the tastiest & most satisfying pancake I have ever eaten. The prices were very reasonable for the flavors & volume & quality & thoughtful sourcing of the ingredients, and we will not hesitate to return to Sleepy Bee Cafe on our next visit to Cincinnati.

Beautiful atmosphere, very warm and professional staff. This place made the end of our visit amazing. The coffee and mimosas were delicious and the food was even better. I was beginning to lose hope in Cincinnati food until I came across this gem!

Had a nice experience at this downtown Cafe after a food night's sleep. The decor and ambience was on point, only matched by the quality and freshness of the food served. Would definitely try them again when back in town.

Now this is the perfect breakfast joint for this side of the city. Great place to stop in and just have a good time. Great food and the best service I have ever had this. If I had to assume, they treat their staff very well. Can recommend 5/5

Place gets busy so you can join their waiting list on yelp or calling. They make great drinks and coffee to get you started and the food comes out quick. Staff is very friendly and help you find your way around the menu and the local favorite. They often do a few specials so it's fun to mix it up.

Friendly, attentive staff who knew the menu and sources of the food, charming bee/honey design, outstanding breakfast.

Our lone visit was a disaster from the time we walked in until we left. The hostess was rude, and the food was bland. They screwed up our check, and it took them about 30 minutes to get it right. It was still wrong, but I had someplace to be, so I just paid. Disappointing because I had heard good things about the place.

Sleepy Bee is my favorite breakfast place ever. Of all time. I live in South Carolina and every time I come into town to visit this is the first place I want to go. This visit was the first time I had been to this location, and it was wonderful! Our waitress was sweet and the manager also came over to chat with us and they were super sweet too. Everyone in there seemed like they enjoy what they do! Our food was amazing, and I was happy to see they had vegan breakfast options, as that can be hard to find most places. I can't wait to come back!
