Iconic restaurant, a long time Cincinnati tradition! Delicious food! Fun experience! Finally, after decades of hearing about the famous Skyline Chili, I made it!! My colleagues and I enjoyed a mid afternoon lunch. Our lunch was served fresh, hot and quickly. The service is excellent. Our server was fantastic and very helpful with menu questions, especially since this was a first time visit for all of us. Each of us enjoyed a cheese Coney chili dog. The Coneys are delicious and covered in cheese! If you're not a big fan of cheese, speak up! They can go easy on the cheese, if you prefer. The Coneys are small, I recommend ordering several if hungry. In addition, I ordered a Buffalo Chicken Salad to take back to my hotel for dinner. My salad was also delicious and served with a heaping mountain of cheese. The dining room was very clean and well maintained. The entire operation is very simple and efficient. The menu is very diverse and reasonably priced. Naturally, just as the name implies, chili is a staple here and used in many menu items. I was very impressed with Skyline and I can't wait to return to Cincinnati for another chance to visit this iconic restaurant again!!
This took place three or four years ago while I was on a day trip and a good friend invite me to Skyline Chili and this place rocks. I love it and wish someday it will be in our Stateline soon in Rockford.
Don’t eat from here most of their staff is sick and they continue to force them to come in my boyfriend works here he had a few coworkers who were sick and lied about no being sick next thing you know he’s sick then I’m sick then my twins younger than 1 years old plus my 2 year old is sick same symptoms he was describing his coworkers had and he was forced to go into work after telling them he didn’t feel well. Can’t trust their food !
Great food. My server was most helpful. Great price too!
I adore this location! The best meat I've ever had. The birthday cake was delectable.A very elegant and comfortable setting.
Quite possibly the worst thing I ever ate in my life. We are headed home from Florida n in Ohio I decided to stop for a bowl in Lima Ohio. 7.00 for a small chili that was so bad I threw it away. The seasoning is WEIRD! My stomach will take months to recover. I will have PTSD from the foul taste of the brown bowl of puke.
We ordered the five way and when I got to the drive up window the lady ask me did get the 3-way or 5-way. I told her they were the 5-way and charge $21 something and I asked her if the prices went up and they didnt change the sign. She said how much does it say and I told her $7.59 she said oh I charged you the large. The package was next to her so I'm not sure why she couldn't tell it was a regular. She corrected the price and when we got home and started to have dinner we were amazed. There was so much chilli it was just dry spaghetti with some pieces of meat and a few beans. You get more sauce at Fazollis so next time I guess we will head there instead of skyline. Love the chilli but I guess they are hurting for profitts.
Usually this Skyline is good, went there tonight around 6:30, service was awful, ordered a 4 way, almost no chili on it, Wife orders a chili cheese sandwich, again no chili, told server and She seemed disinterested, last trip here, Skyline Finneytown is far superior
When you are in Cincinnati, there must be one trip to Skyline Chili. I suggest either the 4-way, or 5-way. I also recommend you order a hotdog (Coney) also! It's not gourmet food but it's fun and iconic.
Today I went thru the drive thru and ordered 2 large 3 ways (dry) and a cheese coney. I than ask the girl taking my order to repeat the order as they have gotten it wrong before. After she repeated my order (what I told her) I than pulled up to the pay window. I than repeated my order and again told her not to forget the two large 3 ways were dry. She again repeated my order and gave me the total. I said hmmm it usually cost more for this order. She gave me my change and the bag with what was suppose to be what I ordered. After I got home I opened the bag and to my displeasure I had got two regular 3 ways, I called skyline and the guy(I guess a manager named Greg) basically told me she gave me what I ordered. I told him I ordered two LARGE 3 ways not regular. He again basically called me a liar. I will never go back to Dent Skyline on Harrison Ave. again. It was not so bad they screwed up my order( again) by the same girl but to basically be called a liar really ticked me off. Shame on you skyline chile! (Dent).
