TLDR: I could have and should have left had dinner somewhere else and you should too. Don't waste your money you can do better from the grocery store or have a nice meal where when you pay 50 a person they treat you like it.Overall the experience was not great. Everything was extremely overpriced. From the food even to the insane upcharge of several dollars to run my credit card to pay and leave. I'm sorry but eat the fee to run the card or find a better processor and bake it into your cost LIKE A NORMAL BUSINESS. The cheapest meal is almost 27 dollars and if you want fried rice it's an extra 6 dollars per meal for them to give you the same very small cup of rice and add two eggs to cook the entire tables amount of rice. For a six dollar upcharge on rice I would expect to have plenty of rice let's be honest it's cheap. There was NO show yep half of the reason people go. The food portion was about half of what I would expect. There was no miso soup just some cheap onion broth lol. I have never gone to hibachi and not left with food but here I barely had any on my plate. No one took a box home at the table.. Soda is 3.50 and if you get a refill the cup size comes back smaller. It's kinda crazy to me when your meal is as much as this, and to get all these upcharges and cheap feelings. Clearly this place is not run well.

when I go to these places I expect to spend extra because I'm going to get a show. not this time. took my son to celebrate getting straight A on report card. no special display, no show, no excitement. the guy even drug my noodles across the bar top before putting them on my plate. was highly unsatisfied in this experience for what we paid. the Indiana location is far better, save the disappointment and go there!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Where to start??? I had reservations for a 7 top at 8:30 ( the latest reserve you can have). We expected that we would need to wait and wait we did. It was almost 9 before we were sat and probably 9:30 before we saw a server. Again, not a huge deal, we were one of the last tables sat. After we the server showed up, her service was amazing and the sushi was par for the course as far as a spicy tuna roll goes. After we had the salads, soups, and sushi we had to wait like another half an hour before the " head chef" would grace us with his presence. The "head chef" was considerably less than acceptable. There was no show, one of the biggest reasons to go to hibachi, and he didn't even have all of the proper proteins in place. We had a 4 top sat right after us and rather than knocking their food out then our food, he threw all of our food onto the grill and left it sitting there while he turned and cooked this other tables food. Needless to say, the rice was crunchy, the noodles were burnt to a crisp, the shrimp was so overcooked that it bounced on the plate, and the veggies and chicken were completely dry. We were more than willing to wait while he finished their food before cooking ours. I absolutely refused to pay almost $50 for burnt and inedible food. When I spoke to the manager about the experience he proceeded to tell me that he would refund the money for my food since I refused to eat it but he would only give the rest of the table 10% off due to their cost of the food. The rest of the table left probably 50% of their food on the table because they couldn't stomach. As we were discussing I disdain for this food, the " head chef" decided to speak up and start telling me that I had no right to say that the food was bad and if I felt this way then I need to tell the manager and that the manager would speak to him and that he is the head chef of the restaurant. So in conclusion, if you want overpriced burnt food and a " head chef" who is going to disrespect you because you have an opinion about his food, then come down to Sakura's, they've got you covered.

Have been coming here for years and normally love it! However, last night was the worst experience I've ever had there. We had reservations at 630, had to wait about 30 min to be seated. Once seated, we waited another 45 min for ANYONE to even come to the table to take drink orders. The chef was in a hurry...the food was over cooked, the rice was too salty, the steak wasn't the same as normally is in the Chateaubriand....and over cooked! And our steak was cut into 3 inch strips, not cubed like normal. Was really disappointed!!! Didn't get our vegetables until we were almost done eating. We had the chef that had tattoos up both arms and neck.....I think he needs re trained......

Horrible! We have been here so many times for dinner, but tonight was the worst time ever! I had reservations at 7:30 pm we got seated - an it took 1:30 min to get a chief - to our table ! It will be along time before we come back. Horrible service ! to tell someone 7:30 and eat at 9pm! Is just a lye! Very disappointed for a$160.00 meal !

Great food. A little too expensive

This is a good restaurant a little salty for my taste. However the food is a solid B grade for the taste and menu. But I give it a 2 star because of the PRICE!. There are many Japanese Grills with Sushi, Hibachi style and good flavor with reasonable PRICING. I was there last night and watched a table of about 9 people get up and leave because of the over priced selections. They even charge 6.00 for fried rice that other restaurants of the same menu charge maybe 1.00 extra. I paid 7.00 for 2 root beers (which they were out and I had to settle for a dying Coke) and 7.00 for fried rice! This is not a premier restaurant or it should be listed as one. I want spend my money when there are other spots that are cheaper and better.

Amazing place, and good food

They don’t know how to treat their employees!! They disrespect them because they are young adults and teenagers. They rather have someone that is a drunk cooking their food then nice respectful young adults that cooks ten times better!!! They are very disrespectful to everyone

Overpriced but a good time and pretty good food, the chefs are always really nice and fun
