Great margaritas! These are my benchmark margaritas, have not found any better. Our favorite dish is Tacos Rincon. The guac, queso, salsa are especially good. We have never had a meal we did not like at Rincon. Military personnel, cash payments, and/or happy hour times means discounted pricing too. Great taste, great food, extremely friendly servers, great value, great experience! After our meal we like to go shop at Jungle Jim's International Grocery about a block's walking distance from Rincon.
This could easily be a 5 star Mexican restaurant...The food was good. The interior decor was cool. But the service was really bad... We had the most unfriendly waiter ever. I always give restaurants the benefit of the doubt on food and decor but service is something they control. The other thing I thought was weird is no complementary chips and salsa. First time I have ever seen that. The food is good though...
This was our first time eating here. My husband and I thought the food and service was great overall. The waiter seemed very pleasant and quickly brought us our food. Our favorite menu item was the chorizo queso dip!! The only complaint is the margarita we ordered was a little"'watered down." Overall, a great experience and place to grab a bite to eat!

We had wonderful birthdays in November and we brought our friends for the 1st time. They loved it. Drove 40 minutes to get there. Best Mexican food around and love the salsa!
Chorizo was drowning in grease, chips and salsa aren't free... this place had the best chimichanga I'd ever had in my life for 10 years but covid must have ruined it... chicken wasn't fresh, tortilla on the chimichanga wasn't fried the way it always used to be... no peppers and onions inside like there used to be... beer was as flat as possible... I've been to 30 Mexican restaurants and this was my all time favorite place... hadn't been back since covid and my experience today was some of the worst I've ever had... very sad to post this but this place has taken 10 steps backwards since covid hit... I'll come back at some point once all this has subsided and hope to see the old version of this restaurant that used to be the best in town.
The arroz con pollo was really good. Nice restaurant, pleasant atmosphere. Very busy on a weekend night. Had takeout and it took a while, but was worth the wait.
Food was pretty good. Server was nice. It was crowded so took awhile to get our food. Good atmosphere.
Ate here with family. Only restaurant I've been to that makes you pay for chips and salsa and the chips are very hard, and they don't come out warm and have no salt on them. Would not order them again. $3.25 for what they considered a "large" order, just an average size basket of chips and one tiny bowl of salsa that we all had to dip out of. I had the carnitas and it was good. I do like that you can order different sides than the typical rice and beans offered at most restaurants. I tried the ranchero beans, but they were too spicy for me. The fried potatoes were good. $4.50 for two pops, this is why I always order water. Our waiter was very nice and friendly. I would go here again, but not order chips the next time.
Love this place! Great food and kind staff!!??❤️
