Chose to go here because it was one of the highest rated mediterranean restaurants in Cincinnati. I was very disappointed with the food. I ordered a gyro which was good. But my partner who ordered the wings received them Burnt and very small. The baklava we ordered for desert was severed cold out of a refrigerator. Opposed to room temperature like every other mediterranean restaurant I have been to. The man we sat next to during our meal noted that the grape leaves were drenched in lemon juice and had been reheated due to their lack of crispness. The people there were sweet but I was just overall very disappointed in the food.
I order the gyro. The portion size was perfect, and the food was delicious. If I wasn't so full, I definitely would've wanted more! Raya was great, too. Definitely would eat here again if I'm ever in the neighborhood.
Raya's did an excellent job preparing fresh and delicious food for a recent family gathering of mine! We were extremely happy with the quality and pricing. The staff was easy to work with in planning our large take-out order, and they prepared a wide range of different dishes that everyone loved. I would definitely recommend Raya's, and I will be back soon.
Wonderful couple that runs this hidden gem. I had their lamb plate and it hit the spot. Large menu with both American and Traditional Lebanese food. Enjoy!
I love this place. Such a nice place if you want authentic food. If you are a baklava fan. I love it! Just ask for it warm and it’s the best :)
I love the affordable price for such great foods! A gyro wrap was enough to make me full and it’s only $6. Perfect for lunch, dinner, anything.
We love this place. It's one of our favourites in Cincinnati. The people there are wonderful. Super friendly. The food is outstanding. We love the baba ghanoush. The lamb in the shish kabob is fabulous. The mix platter is great. Gyro meat is so good. Look forward to trying a different dish when we visit again.
The best sandwich I've ever eaten and the worst were both chicken schwarma. The best was in Amsterdam, and the meat was freshly grilled, full of spices, and filled with flavor.Unfortunately, the worst was at Raya. The chicken was barely seasoned, overly chewy and dry like it was microwaved, and tasted... off. The pita was also a bit dry. And pickle was added to the sandwich which did not feel authentic or yummy.Raya, go look at the other low reviews. Several diners rated your schwarma as awful. If you're taking feedback seriously, consider adjusting your recipe to something more delicious. Sorry to be a downer. Your service was very good.
Absolutely the best falafel I've had in my life! Highly recommend to any mediterranean cuisine lovers.
Great little place to have lunch, the hummus and lamb kebab wrap were delicious!
