I can't say enough about this place. It will always be a go-to when I am in the Cincinnati area. The atmosphere is great, the karaoke is fantastic, and the regulars are thr nicest, most welcoming people. Someone told me "your first time here, you're a stranger, the second time, you're family" amd that captures it.
Great environment!! Always have a fun time with friends, people here, the bartenders (Meg especially is AMAZING), & of course Jimmy! First time doing bingo night here was so fun! Have been a regular here and will continue to keep coming back! Karaoke is also a GREAT experience with Uncle Don, so many song selections! Very welcoming place!
Meg is such a wonderful bartender! I always feel welcomed and comfy, being a young female, at a bar. I love the diversity the crowd this bar brings in. They offer a lot of variety to welcome people of all ages, including Bingo Night Thursday’s, and Jimmy is here all the time and he is soooo wonderful. Uncle Don runs karoke Wednesday, Friday’s and Saturday’s and is a great facilitator! He also runs bingo night. I’m definitely a regular. Check it out! Tons of fun!
I've been coming to this bar for almost 20 years, and there's a reason why! When you walk into this little gem you feel like family. Meg always has my favorite drink ready to go as soon as she sees me walk through the door, Pam is a total sweetheart and Michael is the best bar owner in town! Poor Michael's is always our go to whenever we want to get out and have some fun. Karaoke 3 times a week and my fav...Bingo Thursday! I highly recommend this bar if you want to kick back and have a few beers. Cheers! ?
A nice little bar with a fun atmosphere and a good mix of friendly patrons. Toss in a great karaoke DJ 3 nights a week, bingo night, darts and Michael's FAMOUS bar snacks (lol), you can't go wrong! Meg and Pam are awesome behind the bar....(and very talented singers to boot!).
Went there had a awesome time. The Bartender was great. All of the normal crowd were very nice and friendly. We walked in strangers and we left as friends. We are definitely are going back!!!!! Oh and the things hanging up on the walls is a awesome collection of famous people.
Poor michaels is probably the best place to come and have a drink. Always makes me smile as soon as I walked through the door. Meg always makes sure that you are well taken care of and don has karaoke 3 nights a week! Much love for that place!
Poor Michael's is a place everyone should experience. Reasonably priced drinks, cold beer, friendly and attentive bartenders. The customers even make you feel at home, they're very friendly. Sports fans, they have large TV screens positioned so wherever your seated you have a nice view. Megan, the bartender, does a wonderful job . If your in the area make the effort to stop by and see for yourself. Looking forward to celebrating St. Patrick's Day Again on March 17th.Slainte' (Cheers)
Friendly bartender. Great atmosphere. Has a good hometown feel to it. Karaoke is enjoyable and entertaining. Reasonable drink prices.
