Found out about this place by doing a map search ?Never heard of it, so decided to try it.It's Guatemalan cuisine, known for its chicken & papusas.The chicken is great, thin tempura batter. Portions are grande.The taquitos were my favorite.Atmosphere was friendly as well as the very helpful server, who explained everything we had a question about.The place could use a remodeling but it adds to the old world charm.Place was getting packed by many Latino people, so you know it's legit!

The food is amazing good people I loved this place.
I was looking for something authentic but not too far out of my comfort zone and close to the house, so I tried Pollo Shaddai. It exceeded expectations! I got their signature dish, pollo shaddai, and while it wasn't completely unique from other fried chickens it was definitely delicious. The chicken legs are HUGE! The chicken skin is crispy and doesn't slide. The batter is a little sweet, but good. Just enough to remind you you're eating Guatemalan food. They also are open later than most restaurants in this part of town. So if you are looking for a spin on fried chicken while supporting local business, I definitely recommend Pollo Shaddai.

Great food! The Pollo Shaddai chicken may be the best fried chicken you ever have. The tacos, beans and rice we had were also great.

Wouldn't even know it was there unless u are from around here. But food was good not enough choices for my liking but good prices but if u don't speak any Spanish good luck getting or giving any specifics
I just kinda stumbled across this place, but wow! The namesake fried chicken dish is delicious!
