Very disappointed after looking at the menu. My onion rings were burnt to almost black. All of the food tasted the same like it was the same. I'm guessing because it was all fried in the same oil. Short staffed, which wasn't a big deal, as everywhere is. But, I couldn't believe she would serve food with such horrible presentation. Seafood chowder was cold. I was super excited to check this place out, only to find it didn't live up to our expectations.

Very disappointed with our food. Usually the food is very good. This time the waitress had no idea what she was talking about. My friend ordered cottage cheese, and received Cole slaw. My husband's grouper was soggy. I asked for avocado, and cheese on my side salad and was told she couldn't do that. I told her I come about once a week and always get that. I ordered chicken quesadilla and got only cheese! Horrible food and service.

Took over 20 minutes to even get someone to greet us, drinks were not good, appetizer came out still frozen, burger was a precooked frozen patty... They only redeeming part was the lobster mac. Spent over 70$ for the whole thing and walked away disappointed. I didn't catch our waitresses name but she did great when she noticed us.

We have always enjoyed our lunches at Pirate's Cove but we wish they would update their hours on Google when they are closed. We made the trip to find no one there at lunch time. Ended up at the national Exempler in Mariemont and all was good.

Nice atmosphere. Music was good but the food not so much

Had the impossible burger and it was so delicious. Definitely could have fooled me into thinking it was meat. Also really enjoyed meeting Jack Sparrow.

I have to say this first...... this doesn't have anything to do with the service or food, but it does speak to the type of people that come to this establishment. When I was walking in, there were 2 men and 2 women behind me. One of the men said, "'well, $h-t on a homeless person" the other man says, "yeah that's what they're for" Right then, I didn't feel good about my first visit to Pirate's Cove. With that being said, there was a live band. The place was busy, with no organization. It was, seat yourself. 4 servers walked right passed me. I had been seated about 10-15 minutes before I finally got one to even acknowledge me. She ended up being a good server. The food was just okay but it is overpriced. I don't care if I never go back. Sorry, this probably won't be a popular review. But, this was my experience.

We had a great time. My wife and I took a friend along. Atmosphere is excellent. Food was delivered at a nice pace; drinks, appetizer and main course. Service was exceptionally friendly. Even waters and waitresses who didn't have our table exchanged pleasantries as they went by. This was a pleasant departure from carryout and the circus with masks and people being ill - at -ease in indoor restaurants! Loved it! Will be going again too and will have Pirate's Cove on our list of favorites!

Food was quick and delicious. The atmosphere was nice and laid back. If you get the opportunity to stop, do so!

great food good atmosphere great service
