Portions were OUTSTANDING!!!! Taste was well worth the drive!!! Every single thing we ordered was beyond delicious!!! The service was exceptional!!!! The sauces were all delicious but the Gold sauce was the best mustard based sauce I have EVER had!!!! EVER!!!!!
My husband and I tried Pig Candy after friends suggested it to us a lot! We love our BBQ and have tried multiple places in the area. This place…. Is in the top 2 for us! We each got a sampler to try a variety of item. He got the smoked brat, smoked turkey, and pulled pork. I got the pulled pork and double brisket. The brisket was great! Full of flavor and extremely tender. My husband liked the brat a lot also. I’m not a huge turkey fan, but my husband enjoyed it. But the star of the show for us was the pulled pork!! It was amazing! For our sides, we tried the pickled onions and pepper, Mac & cheese, cowboy beans, and cole slaw. Their cole slaw is top notch for sure! The cowboy beans were the best side item we tried! They were delicious!!! My only negative is the mac & cheese. I didn’t care for it that much at all. Overall it was great! We will definitely be back! I can’t wait to try the cheddar grits and sweet potato cauliflower mash next time!
Got the smash burger with a side of Mac salad. While the individual pieces were both incredible, I think their awesomeness cancelled each other and the flavors were fighting each other. However…some pulled pork was leftover from the burger and putting that on top of an already great Mac salad took things to 11. I would definitely recommend trying this place and I fully intend on coming back because I was told the brisket is incredible and I need to see for myself.
Ordered a pulled pork sandwich, with gold, white, and red sauce. With a side of cowboy beans. Food was Amazing! Bun was buttered and toasted to perfection. The sauces were a great mix of clasicc bbq flavors and they mixed very will too. i was mixing the white and gold. to finish the mean i ordered a blackboard special of a carrot cake waffle, topped with butter, cinnamon sugar, and homemade whipped cream. It was crispy, dense and flavorful! to top off the food, the service was OUTSTANDING!! So friendly, helpful, really went out of their way to make sure everyones needs were met. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
It was our first time dining here! Loved the ambiance of the restaurant. The main dishes/sides were delicious. Excellent service. Would recommend trying!
Hands down one of the best restaurants in Cincinnati! Not only is the food phenomenal, the restaurant itself is always clean. The staff are always super friendly and the owner goes out of his way to make sure the customers are happy. I've watched this restaurant grow from when it was rubble and it's awesome to see how it has all come together! Be sure to grab a bottle of the white sauce while you're there... It's the best sauce in all the land!
Went for the first time today! Was delicious! The waffle with pulled pork inside comes with a peach maple glaze was amazing! It was cool to see it was gluten free as well! We will 100% be back!
Eaten here a few times and the food is delicious. Beef quesadilla, pulled pork, smoked Turkey are all delicious!They have daily specials so try to stop by on rib days! They don’t last long so get there early or be prepared to try something else on the menu.The sauces are delicious and I’m a huge fan of the spicy. Homemade so it has a very unique flavor and the heat varies on the pepper batch.
Excellent food and great service! My brisket was incredible and my husband really enjoyed the quesadilla with pulled pork. The sauces were delicious and I really enjoyed the pickled peppers too.
