Terrible customer service ! Please do not go here !
This is a terrible restaurant with rude under trained staff. Save yourself don’t ever go here.
Imagine ordering a teriyaki chicken and broccoli bowl and getting a thing of mystery soup. Sounds horrifying right? Nah but I am not one to complain and figured I would say something to a staff member because this is obviously not what I got. When I asked the worker why I got a soup instead of the bowl, the worker for whatever reason would not look at me and she told me they didn’t have the bowl to begin with and didn’t apologize or anything to me. She did ask me if I wanted a refund which I appreciated. The worker called for her manager (one would assume) but the manager told me she was too busy with orders and I would have to wait awhile. Which i ended up just leaving because i was annoyed.I love Panera but this location is horrendous.
Service was average, restaurant was FILTHY, no soap or paper towels in restroom, watched in amazement at the amount of employees that went in and out of the restroom and never seemed to notice, pretty sure a homeless person was living in the handicapped stall, no clean dishes, people dining in were given to go paper bags etc. very hot, no A/C, no iced coffee, no chicken, I could go on but you get the point. I am visiting from out of town so I most definitely won’t be back.
Looking for something different to satisfy your pallet? Well look no further because no matter what you order here, you’ll get something completely different! Want extra protein in your diet? Well you’ve come to the right place because not one staff member wears a hairnet, hat, or gloves! Love your coffee iced? Not a problem! They’ll serve you a cup of ice topped off with just a wee bit of coffee for only $7. But the fun doesn’t stop there… don’t you hate it when you walk into a place of business and everyone is super friendly and professional? Well I do too and that’s what I love about this Panera because not one person on staff will greet you or smile. The best part is that you also feel like you’re a part of the staff team when you overhear them gossiping and cussing behind the counter about their personal lives and previous customers.
Went in on a Saturday night for soup and sandwiches. They claimed to have no sandwich fixing and only had grilled cheese. I wanted a sandwich so I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich. It was garbage. The bread was not toasted and was very soggy. Cheese was not melted. AWEFIFUL!!!!! Not the first time I've had a bad experience at this dump. Will never go there again. You are supposed to be about bakery fresh items and sandwiches. How can you not have sandwich fixings on a Saturday night? I will never frequent this place again.
This may be the worst experience I have ever had with catering. Although I ordered for event early in the day, the staff had not started to make it when I arrived at the appointed pick up time. Worse, the staff had the gall to make snide remarks in front of me about being too busy to create my order. Corporate Panera had to get involved and, to their credit, gave me full credit against the protests of the store manager. I will most likely never use a Panera again, even if it is a different store.
I had a very rude experience at this Panera today. I’ll admit, I got confused about an item on the menu, but I approached the staff about it a very nice way after I got my food. If the error had just been calmly explained to me, I would have totally admitted my error and gone on my way. However, the exact words from the employee were “if you’d just read the menu, that wouldn’t happen.” And the ensuing conversation and laughter after I left the counter did not make me feel any better. It was very condescending and embarrassing. No customer should be made to feel like this in a place of business. This is not the first issue with customer service that I’ve had at a Panera. I thought it was a fluke, but I can tell you I will not be back to Panera after this incident.
Walked in for an afternoon pastry and stood at the counter for at least four minutes. No one ever greeted us and finally a young lady came over to the counter and started re-arranging the pastries. We thought for sure she was putting on gloves to wait on us, but she never bothered looking up at us let alone offer to take our order. We left disappointed, but the other recent 1 star reviews tell the story. This store needs better management or it will be shuttered like so many others.
Sorry, Panera, you have lost my business for good. We waited to place an order for an afternoon pastry and coffee. There were at least six employees behind the counter. No one waited on us. Poor management.
