The burger special was a bit dismal, but their other offerings are quite good. When busy, their service is not very good, but on a typical night, it is good. Pamela was especially attentive. There is a small, but good list of wine, beer and cocktails.
When we walked to the host station, the host had his back to any customers, doing something on his phone. We were seated, and given the menu, which was very limited. I ordered their featured burger for Cincinnati Burger Week, which could not be modified in any way. You couldn't even ask to have it served with no pickles. It was a thin burger with a decent flavor, but very dry. The burger was served in a paper boat like you get an order from fries at the county fair. It was like the burgers were all prepped ahead of time, and then warmed individually when one was ordered. We had no napkins or utensils until we asked for them. Someone brought my wife and I a sealed packet with a small napkin, and a plastic knife and spoon, the kind you get with a carryout order from KFC. Our server checked on us a couple minutes after we were served. When we were finished, we waited for her to return, finally I got the attention of another employee, and ask him to find the server so we could get our check. After five more minutes, she came with the check. I gave her my card, and when she ran it, and brought it back, I finally looked at the total. She had charged my wife twice for her meal. It took another five minutes to get that resolved. My impression was they had just opened, and had lots of wrinkles to iron out. When I got home, I checked TripAdvisor, and they had been open for more than a year. :(
I have one word… ZACH!! For starters, Zach is ALWAYS pleasant EACH and EVERY time I visit!! Today happens to be my anniversary weekend so my fiancé and I stopped by Saturday but I forgot they didn’t serve brunch. Zach was by himself but still keep a happy and upbeat tone. The other customers even complimented the service they were given. Once were realized there wasn’t a brunch menu until Sunday, we waited. We returned today, Sunday, and Zach was there again doing an AMAZING JOB!!!! It was only him and Pam but they food was DELICIOUS, HOT, and Pam kept the bottomless mimosas flowing! We will return and great job to the team!! Excellent service!
Tried this place out for having an outdoor patio. It’s on the 4th floor of the Summit Hotel. Not much of a view really staring down into the Medpace campus. Is not downtown like their promo pictures try to convey it is about 7 miles northeast of downtown. They have seasonal menus, we tried Spring 2022. We had the fried cheese appetizer which was amazing. I had the chicken in soubise sauce, potatoes, and pearl onions. A+ the sauce really makes it and the chicken was cooked to perfection. My fiancé had the seared salmon and potatoes with lemon vinaigrette and whipped feta cheese dips. Also A+ the pairings are great but that feta cheese is the best thing. Finished with the brownie dessert that comes with a side cup of ice cream. Food was amazing but service was pretty below average, even for this city. Not near anything else to do either
The staff was very pleasant. Not many selections on the wine list. White zinfandel would have been nice
Four of us enjoyed a healthy lunch. The server was very friendly and answered all of our questions. The food was hot, quick and delicious. It was too hot to eat outside, but the view was great.
Nice to be outside but the view isnât anything to rave about. Food was ok but menu selection was extremely limited. Service was excellent and the hotel and resteraunt atmosphere was very nice - especially if you like modern decor.
Burger and fries were good. Definitely do not recommend the Onion Soup. Patio is beautiful.
The noise level is a little high because of all the solid surfaces. The food was awesome and the choices were great including vegan choices. But truly what made our experience exceptional was our outstanding waiter. Daniel, was phenomenally attentive, funny and informative. He accommodated every request with a smile and took care of every need. Manager came by and made sure we had everything we wanted.
