Prices were reasonable but you will understand why when you taste the food. Incredibly over-seasoned with salt and spices that don’t add anything to the food item. The side dishes themselves are inedible for me. The mac & cheese tastes like Kraft with some sharp cheddar cheese added; not satisfying or homemade tasting at all. The green beans tasted like they were drenched in steak seasoning. They also forgot an item with my order. Truly not a good first impression of this place and I don’t understand the positive reviews at all.
Nothing all. I asked for rib tips it was more like pulled pork. Nasty
great food, great price.old school diner feel and taste
If you are tired of eating the same Ole burger, stop at Ollie's for a taste bud quencher. My favorite burgers are the turkey burger and the mushroom burger..... and baby the seasoning on those fries....mmm mmmm .... make you wanna smack your momma lol. But for real though. My only complaint would be not enough ketchup for my fries . Love Ollie's ❤️
Great food great service!
Wasn't satisfied with the salmon croquet meal that was prepared. They were burnt and salty. Potato salad had no taste and the watermelon lemonade did not taste like watermelon. The fried okra was good.
This is a great find here in Cincinnati, OHIO. Even President Obama and First Lady couldn't resist trying it out.The food is delicious, has large portions, and is very reasonable priced too.As you can see from all the pictures, it is unique, one of a kind that is for sure. I would highly recommend this restaurant they are open 9am to 5pm.Do not come to this area after dark; the location is in a rough area.
This place has a storied history and after reading about it, we decided to give it a try. The story is worth googling. Our group tried three items- The Ollie burger, the cod sandwich, the rib tips (it was at the end of the day and the full rack wasn't available) and the fries. If healthy is what you are looking for, turn around. But the Ollie burger with the special Ollie's sauce was messy, greasy goodness. Three of our group ate them and all three of us will be back for another. Tasty with a lot of meat for the price. And the fries were the same- and should be eaten while they're hot. Greasy, seasoned well & tasty! The cod sandwich was pretty lame. It was a fried piece of cod stuck between two pieces of wheat bread. And the rib tips were a bit on the fatty side. There's only outdoor seating and you will not be greeted by friendly staff, so don't expect that. But if a good burger and fries are on your mind (or stomach), this would be a great place to go.We took our meal just a couple of minutes away and ate on the deck at Washington Park.
Went to Ollies when a caterer forgot to deliver my lunch order and it was lunch time. Ollie's had my order done in record time it was delicious! The fries were a huge hit, awesome seasoning. The onion rings were phenomenal!!!!!!Can't wait to go back!
We had our Thanksgiving work party last week and everyone wondered where the turkey was from. I'm not a huge turkey fan, so I wondered why it was so delicious, then I found out we catered from Ollie's!Seriously, I can't say enough about this place! I've been back a couple of times now and am more impressed each time. Quick service, best rib tips in town (and I've tried them all) and they're always piping hot! Also, the prices! I ordered an entrée with three sides and the bill was $9.00 even. It's like the prices haven't changed since they opened in the early 90's. Definitely a must-try!
