We had an excellent meal.

The air conditioning was not working, and it was too hot to even enjoy the food

I really wanted to like OKTO. Mediterranean food is one of my favorites but unfortunately the food left me unimpressed. The lamb gyro was basically tasteless. The meat was thin and charred and the pita was dry and brittle. The fries were good. The service was good. We waited too long to make reservations for a Saturday night but OKTO was wide open. Now I know why. I suspect this restaurant won’t be around for the long haul. Better gyros at many of the local dives for a fraction of the cost.

First time to Okto and our party of 7 loved it! Awesome Greek menu with delicious food, served with positivity and attention to details. We will definitely be back!

Our waiter was professional and attentive. The food was delicious. I moved here from Chicago where I ate Mediterranean food often and this was by far the best I’ve had in Cincinnati. Our entire party had a wonderful experience. Thank you.

This was our first time at Okto and were pleased with our meal. The food and service were excellent. We shared a grilled octopus appetizer that came on a bed of fava puree similar to hummus but made with Fava bean instead; octopus was tender and delicious. One of us had the Souvlaki mixed grill (lamb & chicken) served over cous-cous with a Greek salad made with cherry tomatoes along with some roasted vegetables. The other entree was a grilled mixed seafood dish with lobster, shrimp & octopus along with roasted vegetables. This is right across from Aronoff Center so it would be convenient before a show. We plan to go back. The only downside I could anticipate would be the noise level as it is open with high ceilings, hard surfaces and nearby tables. We ate early so noise was not an issue. Great restaurant and nice to finally see some upscale Greek food in Cincinnati!

I really wanted to like OKTO. To be fair, the table was lovely, the drinks were tasty, if perhaps a bit pricy, and the calamari was excellent. Our entrees however (burger and lamb gyro) were both way over cooked. The Greek fries were cooked well but way heavy on herbs. The service was attentive and delivered with positivity.

This was a perfect spot for a pre-theater dinner. Once we told our server that we were going to the show, she made sure we were finished in time. The food was very good. Tuna carpaccio appetizer was delicious. Pastitsio was very good, but could have used a bit more spice and garlic. Baklava dessert was divine. We will definitely return.

Alison was great! She was very familiar with the menu and was able to help us make our dinner selections. She did not rush us but was able to keep us on schedule to make the Aronoff. The branzino was amazing. We were not disappointed in any of our selections. This was not our first experience and it will not be our last.

We got the octopus and it was tender and flavorful, the Bronzino which they deboned table side and torched the lemon and rosemary awesome presentation! The Greek apple pie was fantastic too!
