I came here for the first time tonight for my birthday and it was absolutely incredible!! Not only was the food delicious and service was fast, our server, Olivia, was especially great. She was super helpful when recommending options and my friends & I never felt pressured to order anything we didn’t want. Everything she recommended, we loved. We had the bread basket, eggplant appetizer, gnocchi, bolognese with salad, and lemon bar dessert. She even provided us with celebratory/complementary champagne!! It was very thoughtful and made our night. She was so sweet and honest. Not only did she get me new candles for my birthday dessert because I accidentally blew them out, she even took the time to redo our checks as there was a small error with splitting the appetizers. We really enjoyed our night here & the service. The rest of the staff that brought things to our table were great too. HIGHLY recommend! Thanks again, Olivia!

Always a fabulous meal with impeccable service. Highly recommend!

I enjoyed my first experience at Nicolas April 7 2022 and can attest to the fine atmosphere, delicious entrees, and perfect service. We had the bread basket as well as the Gnocchi, steak, and lamb. The gnocchi was my favorite and I can see why it is hailed as a signature dish. The bread basket is also well worth it and I enjoyed the different types.

Nicola’s is a gem and one of the top fine-dining choices in Cincy if you want Italian food. They have their Iconic dishes like their pasta bolognese and their must get bread course. And their inventive Italian dishes keep me coming back!

Came back after after a past good experience. It was a fantastic dinner, excellent service and the food reminded me my home country cooking (originally from the middle east) with a sophisticated twist, I loved it and will come back again.

We waited a bit for first interaction with anyone as we sat at our table. But, after a rocky start, our dinner pairing with wines was fantastic! And so much fun! We felt it was a good value as well! The wine pours seem fairly small, but great picks! Very enjoyable evening. We look forward to going back sometime to try some other menu options as well!

in from out of town and opted to try this place. nice venue in old building. Not an extensive menu but that can mean good things. Bread basket was nice- several different types offered but it was a paid menu option. It was suggested most people get 2-3 courses - we opted to split a salad and each got a pasta offering, then took dessert home to split. It took forever to get 2 glasses of wine - they had one option for pinor noir which was $17- it was good but not amazing. We shared our pastas- the seasonal harvest salad was wonderful, the pappardelle short rib ragout was a huge portion, good but not the best I've had, the malfatti was very good- lovely sauce. I generally get the feeling this place is used to being fussed over but I just couldn't fuss. I got the feeling we weren't spending enough. The food was good, as was the wine but I think it was over priced. I don't mind an expensive dinner but didn't feel this warrented. Good food, just not great.

Nicola’s has been one of my favorite places for a long time. Love the food and the service to match. Mondays are bolognese night but the gnocchi is great as well!! House made bread is worth it. Can’t say enough good things about this place.

Valentine's Day here was really well done. Definitely a cozy, romantic, upscale feel. We had the whole menu and everything was spectacular as far as Italian dining goes. Staff has always been professional when dining here. Most notably, Nicola's has the best potato gnocchi in the city.

Mondays are my favorite day of the week when I get to go to Nicola's for Bolognese Mondays, salad, wine and tiramisu. Pictured: tiramisu, eggplant appetizer & my dinner partner
