Absolutely love this place. They have a great menu of soft serve and hard ice cream treats. They also carry a small selection of homemade bakery items such as brownies, cookies, coffee cake, etc. No donuts were seen, but could be there on a different day.They have a pkg lot on the side and the ppl working there were very helpful.Did return and had an Expresso Shake. Fantastic. Only wish it were larger.
Received a legitimate coupon from AARP to try this place. Made a special trip and told owner it was our first visit. Owner said she knew about the coupon and refused to honor it. As some others have said in these reviews, owner was nasty, rude, and obviously not customer oriented. When I said I was going to leave a negative review she followed me out of the store yelling at me. Won't be going back. The Dairy Corner at 3501 Church St in Newtown OH is much better.Responding to comment: As a previous poster noted, you are unable to graciously respond to any negative criticism. You always lower yourself to insulting the people who make a negative comment. Furthermore, you said you had recently had other customers with the same coupon. If the problem is with AARP you should have contacted them after the first customer notified you, but you did not. You benefit from free advertising and then refuse to honor the offer. To quote your own comments to another customer, "You're full of it."
Super cute and has good ice cream. There's also both an indoor and outdoor eating area.
We went last night for the 1st time and it DID NOT disappoint!!! Their soft serve is PERFECTION. Ice creamNot Ice Milk!!!
It's really great all the time especially on a hot day they are perfect and the staff are nice and kind the atmosphere is amazing I love everything on the walls I love coming here
This restaurant is extremely unprofessional. Look through every bad review to see how they speak to their customers who had bad experiences at their shop, undeniably rude.Also, If your African American I don’t recommend you to go here. The employee straight up ignored me and looked past me to the white people behind me but had the nerve to say he was sorry when I called him out for it. Worst experience ever, would never recommend this to anymore especially black people.They previously responded to my post telling me that I’m “full of it”. The owner actually argues with every bad review. They also said that all of my reviews are negative, why are they even looking through my page like that this account is more than 5 years old, and I do have a positive review.With my good experiences I usually tip and wish them a great week so there's no need to write a review when it was good service. Very cute family owned ice cream shop and bakery in Mt Washington. If you have not tried their cake, you are missing out- Absolutely delicious! And they have Pineapple Dole Whip!!
I don't come here often, because I don't usually have the time. However, the last time I was here I had a most EXCELLENT affogato (sp?). That is ice cream (soft serve at this place) with an espresso shot poured over it. It was just the right mixture of sweet with sharpness from the espresso. WELL worth the visit.
The vanilla creamy whip with the chocolate hard shell is the best! Gonna try Java whip next time I go
First time here. Enjoyed the vintage local decor, including a lot of Coney Island items. Had the crushed cherry sundae... excellent!
