The food was great and the service was awesome!

Food was great!! Nice cozy bar and grill

This bar has a cool atmosphere and decor, and it's in a very cool neighborhood. We went there because it was one of the only places that had food that was open at the hour we were looking, and my husband and I both got sandwiches. They were ok. Not bad, but not anything special. But hey, we came hungry and left not as hungry so that's something.

Normally MABG is a great place to go, but my last experience recently I've never experienced before in my life...I gave their staff a courtesy call earlier that day letting them know we would have a large group of about 20 for dinner, even though they don't take reservations during that time, which I was fine with. Again, just a courtesy call. Later when a couple of us showed up early to put our names in, and We were flat out denied service by the hostess, because we were "too big of a group" to serve. I patiently told her we were willing to wait to get a seat like any other group. She coldly resisted and told us they can't help us, so we left.

I've been a few times recently with my 6 year old son and today he ordered an Italian Soda. It came out in a styrofoam cup which had sides that collapsed really easily so he asked for a straw so he didn't spill on himself. Imagine my surprise when I got our check and saw that they charged us $0.50 for a straw. I understand that expenses have gone up but that was both a wild choice to choose to charge for when you gave a child with small hands a garbage cup and an outrageous amount to charge for what it was.

On our last full day in Cincinnati, my wife and I were driving northeast of downtown. My wife’s cousin recommended we see the historic Mount Adams neighborhood. Because we arrived at lunchtime, we decided to stop in for lunch. My first impression was that this bar and grill was definitely a locals place. The walls were filled with signed celebrity headshots, but I didn’t know who half of them were. From our booth, I read this site was originally a grocery store in 1923. Anyway, for lunch, I had the turkey sandwich, my wife had the vegetable soup (one of the soup’s of the day), and shared a slice of pecan pie. All were fine. After lunch, we paid a visit to the nearby Holy Cross Immaculata and finally enjoyed the city views from high above.

What a absolutely amazing place, you truly feel like you have stepped back in time. Went for lunch before a show at Playhouse in the park which was so convenient. There was only one waitress but she was doing her best. The food was delicious , I had the Reuben and fries. My only negative that it took a little longer than it should only because the poor waitress was by herself.

Loved visiting here. The Turkey Reuben is delicious

Cute restaurant with a cozy vibe eventhough it's quite large inside. I had Eduardo's Italian hoagie and my husband had the reuben. We both agreed that our food was very good, but the portion sizes were definitely on the small side. Our server was friendly and our food was ready fairly fast. Parking can be a challenge in this area since it is mostly on street and spots are fairly tight. Still worth a visit, though!

Bartender seems pretty cool. Great interactions with guests. Wait staff were extremely rude! Messed up my salad and then charged me for 2 salads. It took 20 minutes to get my salad and watch 3 salads come out before they made it right. Couldn't get drinks. Heard waiters talking about more of those people referring to us leaving the hookah lounge.
