Best cheesecake in Cincinnati (but so much more, like cinnamon rolls and other sweet desserts).
Seriously the best bakery on Findlay market! The danishes are amazing, the banana pudding is next level, and there are no adequate words to describe the cinnamon rolls. And even better, the people are legitimately the nicest!
If you are ever in Cincinnati you MUST go to Findlay Market and you MUST go to Makers Bakers Co. literally every single thing there is good (we tried 90% of the menu). Isaac recommends the big ol cookie. The banana pudding is the best I’ve ever had in my life (all the flavors are good). The cheesecake is divine, I loved the strawberry crunch. The brownie was rich and chocolatey with a perfect buttercream. The bourbon caramel sauce? Get it on everything!
You guys. Rarely have I ever been both so excited, and bummed, to visit a business. Excited because the banana pudding and cheesecake are truly excellent, bummed because I live nearly 300 miles away and will almost certainly never come back.Stopped in Cincy for a quick trip and ended up at Findlay Market. While walking around my wife overheard two guys talking about some banana pudding, and in a shocking reversal from her normal behavior, she interrupted and asked where we could find that banana pudding. Turns out we were talking to Kevin, the owner, and he pointed the way. We detoured to Rhinegeist before coming back and got there right as Kevin was running out of banana pudding. Like a true gentleman, he somehow came through with one last dish of banana pudding, and I grabbed a slice of cheesecake on the way out, too.Seriously, one of the better banana puddings I've ever had. It's not your normal banana pudding as he uses a cake base rather than Nilla wafers, but I actually really liked that twist. The bourbon caramel drizzle took it up to the next level! The cheesecake was delightful, too! It had an unusually dark top that I felt brought some additional flavor to the party. Not even mad about it.Kevin is doing some really wonderful things at Makers Bakers Co and if you're even remotely close to Findlay I would encourage you to drop by and check him out.
Amazing food and great customer service. Loved Key lime pie and bourbon infused banana pudding.
Their cinnamon roll is possibly the best I’ve ever had. Wonderful texture, just right amount of sweetness, and perfectly paired with the icing. You won’t regret eating these!
My husband and I came across this nifty stand while coming browsing through the market. When I saw they had banana pudding, I had to give it a try. Being my family is from the South and banana pudding was a staple for dessert, I thought I’d give it a try. I’m so glad I did! It was THE BEST I’ve had! I have been eating Patti Labelle’s banana pudding to fill the void of my aunt’s pudding in GA. The pudding from Makers Bakers put Patti’s pudding to shame! I make a visit regularly to just go pick up the banana pudding! It’s delicious!
I am so glad I found this place. By far the best cinnamon rolls I’ve ever had in my entire life. Everything there looks incredible- I will be back !
The cheesecake is delicious. The Graham cracker crust tastes like they toast them ahead of time. Fantastic. 10/10 would buy again.
On a random day trip from Indy, we stopped by the Findlay Market. As others have commented, the banana pudding is incredible. Pudding on top, a layer of sliced bananas, and cake on the bottom. I finished it off and regret not getting two…haha! Their booth is a bit smaller & easy to miss but please do yourself a favor and seek it out. Even though it was nearly closing time, we received a warm welcome and lots of smiles. Super nice folks!
