I like the concept. Nice, open and airy....indoor and outdoor seating. My disappointment was with the service and quality of food (impacted by the poor slow service). The first server, who came to our table asked what we were having to drink (before we could see the food and beverage menu) then dismissed us when we asked for water... they said, "that's it?!?"...the server never returned, nor acknowledged us the remainderof our visit. They sent over server #2, who delivered the water (after an extended period of time) and eventually took our order. We waited close to 40 minutes before our salads, burgers and loaded fries arrived (at room temperature)...Salad was actually quite good, but the burgers and fries were disappointing because they were not warm. When the order came up, it sat there for a while along with a few other orders. (Don't get me wrong, I understand and don't mind waiting... as long as the end product is quality.) It was steady while we were there, but they were not in the weeds by any means. I may try again, but not in the immediate future. In today's world, there are too any choices out there....and when I allocate my discretionary money, I want it to go someplace that provides good food AND service.
Unfortunately forgot to take pictures of the food but it was really good! We sat on the patio out back with our pups and the atmosphere was just right.We had the loaded fries and the fried pickles as apps and then a variety of items off the entree menu. Everything was delicious and we will definitely be back ?
I had heard good things, but the Groupon was the final push to get me to go out to the east side and check this spot out, and I am very very happy that I did. My partner and I enjoyed a really nice weekend lunch. She went for a dry rub set of wings, and a half salad. I had the grilled cheese add chicken and upgraded from the chips to a side salad. Her half salad was absolutely massive! It scares me to think about what a full salad would look like. My side salad was... Substantially smaller. Actually to the point that I was a little upset that it was $5 to upgrade to that or six and some change to get the ridiculous half salad she got. That being said my meal was plenty feeling as it is. Three or four different types of cheeses, a few ounces of chicken breast, and thick buttery bread made this a grilled cheese perfect for a cold day. The tomato bisque was rich, creamy, and went perfectly with the grilled cheese. Everything was delicious!
This is the first time I've left a review anywhere but after this experience I felt the need to.It took an hour for us to get our food and 15 minutes before our server even asked about drinks or brought menus and that wasn't until someone from our party went back inside to ask for menus.The food was overpriced for incredibly small portions. I ordered chicken and waffles which was 13 dollars and it came with 4 waffle corners and 1 fried chicken breast the size of a large chicken tender. The chicken was dry and had absolutely no flavor. I had to soak it in sauce to make it edible.
First time and probably last time hereAtmosphere looks great, outside is awesome setup. So much potential here.We came here for eats and drinks because other bars were PACKED for St Pattys day, you can imagine. Now I know why nobody is here. Service is slow, maybe short staffed? Food took over an hour to never be served until we notified the bar manager Fitz that we want our check and to cancel our food. Fitz returned saying our food is now ready and that it was slow because they are so busy. Look at the photos ? Fitz didn’t charge us for the food we didn’t eat, however he was extremely rude about it. Seems like it was a very slow night for his bar and felt like he took his anger out on us.

Amazing piece of history. The building was a old post office. The ambience and atmosphere is nostalgia and energetic. Plenty of tvs for the sports fan. Beer on tap and all other beers you could want. The food has been awesome, we have fired their pizza, burgers and fries. Highly recommend this place for a nice chill outing.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND. HIDDEN GEM.I went to Local Post for the first time last night and enjoyed every minute of it. The servers and bartenders were very friendly, and the food was excellent -- especially the fries!
Came here because the burgers looked fire in the reviews and I can honestly say the they lived up to expectations. I was also impressed by how good the fries were too - they were super crispy and the accompanying sauces were delicious. My favorite was the posty sauce. The wait was on the longer end of what I’m used to but I did go during peak lunch hour. Will come back again if I have a craving for a burger and fries.
I think everyone should try this restaurant nice environment great food and service it’s amazing went 2 days in a row the fries one of a kind it’s a must have and also on Groupon great deals
