Our experiences with Le Bar A Boeuf have been something so lovely and personally attended to perfection the only way to describe it is to experience for oneâs self the lovely combinations of food, ambiance, culture, and privacy.
Fabulous experience with unbelievable attention to detail. Service spot on. Food fresh, expertly prepared, and beautifully presented. Interesting use of ingredients (in a very good way!).

Phenomenal- There is only one Jean Ro- superb chef and he cooks with love. Everything was beautiful and delicious- wonderful to see JR and Mary Lou- we love you.
The restaurant had an upscale and still cozy feel to it. The wait staff we amazing. The food was absolutely delicious!
Total experience keeps getting better. There were 5 off menu specials the night we dined; we couldn't resist and ordered 4 of them - superb additions. Service was excellent as usual, tables have white table cloths and are comfortably spaced. A frequent go-to restaurant for me despite the 15 mile drive. An extra plus compared to downtown and OTR is free parking.
It was my husbands birthday - we had the escargots to get started which were delicious, then the lobster salad and foie gras specials outstanding and last the seared duck breast which was good. We sat in the patio, it was perfect weather and beautiful view of the river and sunset.
We arrived on time for our reservation and asked the hostess for an outside table of which there are about a dozen, and only three of which were in use. She replied she didn't think she had any availability outside because others had come earlier and requested them. My wife questioned this since when we made our reservation no seating preference was offered. (We had dined here several times before.) The hostess finally acquiesced and seated us at a table outside. Our waitress was very pleasant and knowledgeable. However, the soup that was served us belonged to another table as was our entrees! In this day of COVID-19 we wondered who had breathed on our food the same as we had for somebody else's. The food was good and we had a nice time enjoying the fantastic weather. We left after 90 minutes and far less than half of the tables had been used.
