This is a nice Krogers. The staff is nice, they have great deals and the store is always clean.

Don't go to Kroger late at night! While the website lists the closing hours for pharmacy, deli, and more, it doesn't mention that customer service can't handle a basic refund in the last hour the store is open, and that there are NO CASHIERS on duty at all. If a store says it is open it needs to have its basic services open and functional! I am paying full price for my items; I think it is fair to expect full service. I was shopping late for a last-minute party I will be hosting the next day; had a lot of produce that didn't have bar codes and needed to be looked up and weighed, and more groceries than self-check is designed to accommodate. Also, many of the self-check stations were closed so people were waiting in line. Did not expect this. I am in my 70s and have physical limitations. This was a very uncomfortable experience.Recently I have been shopping more and more at Meijer and Wal-Mart as they carry more name-brand merchandise at better prices, and have better customer service. After tonight's experience I plan on making those my regular stores, even though Kroger is closer to home. I will never again make a late night stop at a Kroger store. Note: I only gave 1 star because I had to in order to post the review. Zero star was not a choice. And while I am commenting - am I the only person who despises using digital coupons? At other stores, items on sale don't require even a membership card much less a digital account. Having to log in on my phone and search through the site for a digital coupon is not customer-friendly.
By far one of the worst kroger experiences I had. Thai kroger is beyond racist and they have no customer service what so ever. The cashier CHARLES line 28 was so rude! He greeted and had convo with the customer ahead of me. When I got to the register CHARLES didn’t say two words, no eye contact or anything. He didn’t even say how much my total was. Just looked at the card machine., very weird! Then when the receipt printed instead of handing it to me he stares at it still not saying a word. I could go on but I’m tired I will never be back!!!
Never buy there seafood 3 times there seafood has been expired and smells awful. There pharmacy staff is awful they said they didn't have the COVID vaccine that I got there but yet online it says they did and they told me because they didn't they couldn't reprint me a new vaccine card. I then asked if they could maybe tell me a closer location because the first time I got mine 40 minutes away and they wouldn't even tell me they just didn't say anything.
This Kroger pharmacy location is by far the worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with! If someone is going to the pharmacy usually they are in need of medical assistance. The lack of service is completely unacceptable. Unfortunately, they are the only location that carries a prescription that I need on a regular basis. Often times when they have the prescription for 3 to 4 days, I am told it is ready to be picked up. I get to the pharmacy and it has not been filled where I have to wait in line an additional 35-45 minutes. Today was no exception. Called 17 times no answer, then called the main store number and had just an excuse that they’re busy. Kroger corporate office, you owe it to your customers to take better care of them without hiring unreliable, rude and obnoxious employees. Not to mention the drive-through has been broken for over 8 months. How does this help your customer? Where is the quality control? I will transfer to Walgreens where I know I will get the correct information in a timely fashion!
Nearly everybody I've encountered here has been amazing! Kind and nice staff! I feel like each department trains and hires the best people. When I shop here it's never a bad experience. Just good vibes! ==UPDATE 02/09/22=== I continue to be impressed! Today I was blown away by the attention to detail in the Seafood & Meat Department. I would describe it as if they were expecting a Military Evaluation! The manager was actually serving the counter and I could tell he took pride in his work! Again, this location knows how to hire the right people! LOVE THIS KROGER!
Line hasn’t moved in 15 minutes which is typical. I could go to the self checkout but I have wine. I can never find someone to use their code. Why not shut down some of the self checkouts and service the customers in line??
The pharmacist Jennifer and her techs are verbally abusive to ppl with mental handi caps. Jennifer refused to fill my prescription or give my any information on it. She just said that I am not in the system and that the doctor needs to call the pharmacy to put in the prescripion.I said my doctor already has and if I'm not in the system, how did I pick up meds here just a few days ago? Jennifer then said I am no longer a part of this conversation and walked away. I said what was all that about to the pharm tech (black girl with pigtails, did not get her name) she then said that she didn't have time to deal with me and that there is a line.I said so what about my prescription, are you guys going to fill it at all? If not I will have to go to hospital and she then said next person in line.I'm special needs and get treated this way at Kroger all the time. It's a crime. It's so wrong.Just count your blessings that you are not handi-cap or special needs because if you were, this is how you get treated.
The Hyde Park Kroger is absolutely amazing. They have the nicest staff working at this location. Also I love their self checkout lanes. I'm able to go on my lunch break get something to eat and make it back to work in less than 30 mins. That's awesome for me. I do recommend going to this location to shop.
