I am impressed each time I have gone, but a recent visit stands out. I have alway enjoyed whatever I have ordered (if you have never had the Pav bahji, it is a must!). What stood out is the education you can learn from Chef Sonecha’s as you wait. We had ordered samosas and tandoori chicken, and asked a question about the curry. He then led us through a tour of Indian curries with samples like you would get with a beer flight. Absolute gem!
It's always good to see non-indians cooking indian cusine. I tried the Magic masala chicken and it was good not great. It needs some extra sauce or gravy to pair it with the rice else the whole dish becomes too dry.
We ordered the chicken biryani, vegetable curry, and a side of black daal. I don't know if it was a typical or a bad day for Khana, but the food was some of the worst we ever had. The chicken was texturally similar to the low quality meat they use for a lot of fast food teriyaki, though the biryani was the most okay tasting thing out of the whole order. The daal and vegetables were too salty, with the vegetables having way too much ginger and sour. The potatoes in the curry were also crunchy, and as my partner ate he found a hair in the biryani. The only saving grace was how friendly the people working there were, but it unfortunately wasn't enough to make the food taste any less bad.
GREAT FOOD!!! They have handful of items on menu but they also so taste different and able to preserve authentic taste. Owners have done great job maintaining the authencity and quality of dishes. Wish they had some more items.
Great food and service, good selection, fresh and friendly
First place I tried at Oakley Kitchen and it really set the bar high! I had the masala magic chicken with the coconut curry sauce. Best Indian food I've had in a long time. Naan was so soft. Literally the only constructive criticism I could give them is that the naan had just a little bit too much dry flour on the outside. Absolutely check this place out.
We came here because of its high rating on google. I have to see the food is just ok. The naan we ordered is not as what the pictures shown on google. Four stars to the friendly staff here
Khana Gourmet is an amazing place ,owner was very welcoming.I tried seekh kebabs ,Pav bhaji , black Dal, Dal Makhni ,& Naan everything tasted good.Its so nice to see someone cooking kebabs + Naan in authentic Indian style.For quick snake Pav bhaji is go too for vegetarians .Hope they start delivering in Cincinnati downtown soon ?

Love this place. The grilled meats, the fresh naans and curries are absolutely delicious. Totally recommend coming here and trying something different. Hard time choosing between my favorite dish, Tandoori chicken, and Masala chicken are my favorites. The Goan curry is absolutely delicious.
