wow one of the best spots in otr drinks for 2 was 9 bucks that a beer and mixed drink nice music mixed crowd great energy alot of fun
First experience at Japp’s - between myself and 3 friends, we spent nearly $50 for one drink each. We hung out for a bit and then as we were leaving, I politely asked the red-headed bartender for a WATER and was told “actually…. We’re closed”That’s the first time I’ve ever been denied a water at a bar. Not cool.ps: the self- serving water station had been empty the entire time we were there.
Molly has created one of the most unique environments I have ever been to. It made our trip to Cincinnati so much more intimate and interesting– between her exquisite cocktails, captivating stories, and wonderful recommendations for things to do in town. Japp's is a gem in a beautiful city.
Such a great atmosphere and so much fun! One recommendation - if it looks really busy and you are debating on going in, walk past the bar and see if there is seating in the back room. It is a really cool space, but you can’t necessarily see it is back there if the bar and front tables are full.
Great ambiance, excellent band and reasonable drink prices... What more could you ask for! The bar was busy and had a great vibe. Was there on a Saturday.

Had such an amazing time dancing (literally the best DJ in cincy) & had delicious and well priced drinks. Casey was our bartender and they were fabulous!

Maybe it was an off day, but this place did not live up to expectations. The ambiance inside was nice, but very empty, and a bunch of tables had dirty glassware all over them, I guess they were understaffed.One of the biggest selling points was hearing that the bartenders were knowledgeable and could make a wide variety of drinks. I did not find that to be the case. I ended up with one of the menu cocktails and it was just okay.Really well priced and nice location. I just didn't enjoy my experience.
