I went in to try the roast beef sandwich. I won't ever order it again, it was very dry. I only go to izzys about every 20 years, so, it could be a long time. But I would like to try the Angus melt. Maybe it will only be 5 years till my next visit this time. Potato cake was good. Server was very soft spoken & meager. I had to go ask for a refill. My food came out FAST! Cashier lady was friendly. Go at your own risk, I'm not in any hurry.
I love Izzys. Every Friday we get their fish reuben sandwich. Never again. 2/25/22 it was awlful!! Don’t know if they changed the fish or it wasn’t done. Soggy and wet and fell apart. Not cod and had a Fishy taste. This is the western hills store. If they want it back, it’s in my refrigerator.
Hadn't been to an Izzys for a long time. I was not disappointed. Potato pancake still the best soft and creamy inside. Crispy on outside. Great soups and sandwiches.

Wondering why I haven't been there in such a long time. The soups are delicious! Even took some home for dinner. Will definitely go back!
Came here on a Monday at lunchtime. Took at least 15 minutes for us to even be greeted and drinks ordered. Ridiculous. It was pretty busy and the two who seemed to be servers were just standing around near the back while tables were waiting to be greeted.
the food here is fantastic! i haven't had a bad experience in my +10 times goin here. hot fresh food and mostly friendly staff.
First time eating here. The Rueben is really good but the Chicken Noodle soup is PHENOMENAL, and so are their pickles!!! The potato pancake was too greasy and way too much batter, barely any potatoes in them. I’ll go back on a Friday to try their Matzo Ball soup (only available on Fridays).
Everything made to order, so it's fresh. Had the New Yorker, but they were out of pastrami, so I substituted roast beef. Wife had Thanksgiving half sandwich with cup of beef barley soup. She loved the soup so much, we bought a bowl to come home.
Great food, amazing service. I recommend the special. Soup, half a sandwich, and a potato cake as big as your head... just $10. Pro tip.. upgrade from a cup to a bowl of soup for 50 cents.
