First time at the establishment and I could not have been more impressed. The host staff was wonderful and sat us as quickly as they could. While we waited the bartender could not have been more helpful. Once we were seated our server was an absolute delight throughout the entire dining experience. Pizza was incredible. Hard recommend
Great place to go before the game. Lots of sports nostalgia
while waiting for a table outside- 2 ladies got up and my niece and I sat down. My husband saw 2 empty chairs at a table and as he was moving them to where we were sitting at a high bar- a large man came over to my husband and told him he can not move these chairs and they need to remain at the table. He then told my niece and me to also get out of the chairs because they have to be at the table. Granted my husband was angry and embarrassed and may have overreacted- that man then told me my husband could not return to the restaurant. To make matters worse there were several folks on the other side who had chairs at the bar. That man said yea- I feel bad about that sorry? really?
Not our best experience.....We went there after the Reds game...server reluctantly waited on us, said she was off shift in 10 minutes but got our beer. Rang us out and took her tip. We were there for over an hour and watched her wait on multiple tables, never us again...I caught her attention and asked her if we could get another beverage...she told us she was i$ the clock and refused.......but then finished waiting on the table next to us. Not okay with that.
As a Woman at this bar, I felt so degraded and demeaned. We came in to join a group of our friends when the bar was empty on Thursday and an old male worker was so rude to us it was unacceptable. I have never been treated like this by an employee of any place, he swore my ID was fake, when it was not, screamed at me, falsely accused me and took my beer right out of my hands after he watched his bartender server me? I will never give this bar another dime of my money, and I don’t recommend that you do either.
Great environment as it’s located right across from the Great American Ballpark! I really enjoyed this place and the food & drinks were pretty good!
This whole block is a perfect spot to watch a game (especially a Bengals game) if you don't have tickets. You'll pretty much have the exact same feel and energy as being in the stadium.
Would love to give an honest review of the food and drinks but we didn’t even get that far. We sat there for about 20 minutes without the server even acknowledging our table. I fully understand that they were busy but a simple greeting or “ I’ll get to you all in a minute” would’ve been fine.
My wife and I were spending the weekend in Cincinnati. Just so happened to be Sunday evening after the win against the Titans. we saw that a game ball was presented to the Holy Grail. We stopped in and asked to just get to see it. They refused to even bring it out of the office. Fans support businesses, not the other way around. Way to ruin a new one of a kind tradition and experience for lifelong fans. We stayed for a drink anyway. It was so watered down that we took one sip and left. Walked up to Knockback Nats and had a great time with a great drink to close the night.
The food is amazing! I always get the same thing every time I go boneless wings and chili cheese fries.
