Five stars doesn't do justice for this restaurant. Absolutely, outstanding customer service by my server and the food oh the food was so delicious, well seasoned and made to order. I had the beef spare ribs and it came in this sizzling clay pot which made the rice at the bottom for a crunchy crust. The added sides provided woth the meal only enhanced the experience even more. The Korean fried chicken was so scrumptious and flavorful made me lick my fingers to savorthe flavors. Even though it was covered in this yummy, sticky sauce it was still crunchy. The price was shocking to me as if this was FL it would have been at least $60 with tax. It was $32 for the lunch and appetizer. I cannot wait to go back to Cincinnati as this restaurant would definitely be on my must visit list. They are located on Vine st obliquely opportunity the Hampton Inn. Didn't see any space for parking as we were on foot.
Second time ordering sushi from HARU (I've dined in once before here too, and the hot dishes being served in cast iron bowls are worth the trip. Also, I recommend the hot mango tea). I'll tell ya, this place does not disappoint. The air force roll and Vine Street roll are my personal yummy fried favorites. As for the raw sushi, the rainbow roll is LOADED with fresh, flavorful fish, like you are getting your money's worth trust me. Quality is everything here, and HARU has been consistently really delicious. Thanks!
Very disappointed in the service at this restaurant. After being seated, we sat at our table for ~15 min before anyone came over. we put our orders and and about 15 min later someone else came over looking to take our order. another 10 min later and someone came out to say our food would be ready soon. 10 minutes after that we flagged down a waiter and his first question was if we needed to order. We mentioned that we have been waiting on our food and he wouldn't even let us finish explaining that we had been waiting awhile and just ran away from the table. about 10 min after this our first appetizer came out of the kitchen and we told the waitress that we had Broadway tickets and needed to be leaving in the next 45 minutes to be able to make the show in time ( we didn't think we needed to mention this at the beginning when sitting down 2 hours before the show). The appetizer was borderline burnt however we were hungry at this point and just ate it. Another 10 minutes later a dish came out that we didn't order. After the server walked away, we heard yelling it the kitchen that it was "on their ticket". We waited another 10 minutes and then decided that we had just enough time left to grab some fast food before the show. we walked to the waiter/waitress station and asked to pay for our one appetizer. We got a half hearted apology but you could tell the waitress really didn't care. The only employee in the place that looked like he cared about his job was the busser.
To start, I would like to say it is criminal that this place isn't busier at 5pm during the week. This is my first experience with Korean food and this place killed it. Yakimandu was delicious and the Jajangmyeon, as a lover of black beans, was excellent.
Ordered delivery. The dwenjang chigae was watery and tasteless. Most horrible Korean soup that I had ever had. The bibimbap had no flavor and did not include any red pepper sauce. Very disappointed.
Amazing service and food!!
Very clean environment and friendly staff. I ordered Korean chicken wings and was somewhat disappointed with the choice in pieces. Are chickens still being genetically modified? Based upon my appetizer; the science is still raging. The sauce was spicy and sweet. I only received 4-5 wings for $9 but considering wing shortages, I didn't mind. This restaurant has a great menu selection and should possibly offer a reasonable sample platter to enhance experience. Just saying.
The soon tofu soup was very good and better than many Korean restaurants that I have tasted. The server was very polite and knowledgeable.
Awesome Korean bowls. Good flavors, large portions and fair prices
Absolutely delicious food, good service..thinking along when a dish was to spicy for my colon. Quantity -quality / price fabulous but more important: all flavors in the dishes were balanced.Good Shiraz too❣
