Food was so good! Some cuts of meat were chewy but thatâs expected always so nice!
Great time , great food & good service . Perfect for a date
One of our new favorite places to go when celebrating Is special occasion. Took our 5 yr and sje absolutely loved it lol.
Birthday Celebration
Good was absolutely delicious and so much fun to grill at our table.
We chose Gyu-Kaku for our daughters 25 birthday. This is a cool place that offers delightful tender meats for you grill over an open fire while dining in or take home. The experience was fun & engaging. I may even try it again on colder evening when I'd like to be that close up to direct heat. Our server was also pleasant and helpful on how to select our meal. I'd give it a 4, but the drinks we tried, the huge Patron Margarita, was loaded with way too much juice, and the lychee martini was something quite awful.in comparison to how great that cocktail could be. Overall they're staff works hard to satisfy customers.I hope the cocktails get better.
We loved it! Ask for Ruby she is an awesome server! Food was delicious as always. Only issue we had was the burner keep charring because of the marinated meat we ordered. It eventually got swapped out but we had no idea you could request that! We will be back!
8th birthday
Normally we have a great experience here. But the last two times have been disappointing. Last time we got a terrible server who never came to check on us. We never got to order more food and no one got full. When he did come he was very quiet, didnât make eye contact, or smile. It was weird. Our takoyaki came out burnt, and the meat looked gray and was chewy vs previous times where it was fresh red and melted in your mouth. I usually recommend this place for groups of friends but Iâm going to have to stop recommending this place until they get it back together.
I spent some time in Tokyo and have been craving this type of experience since I've left. I can say this checked all the boxes. Our party of 4 had a great time and the food was wonderful. We did the 4 person meal option which came with plenty of starters from noodles, sushi, miso soup, fried chicken and more. For the main course it provided multiple trays of meats to try.I enjoyed everything I tasted. We did order an extra side of Duck which was also good. They offer options for dipping sauces, but honestly I don't think it's worth it. Everything brought out was seasoned and marinated with unique flavors. It would be a shame to mask those with a sauce. The meal wrapped up with Smores which were nothing special (standard Graham cracker, Hershey Bars, and Marshmallows), but it was still fun to cook them on the grill. There are other dessert options.Ultimately this experience brought me back to Tokyo for a moment and highly recommend it for the unique experience if you're looking to try something new and don't mind grilling your own stuff. Most things are grilled in a minute or so with poultry, pork, or seafood taking a few minutes more.I would suggest *not* bringing small children. The table will be covered with trays of raw meats and a grill in the middle of the table with an open flame. (See Photos) Rambunctious kids can get burnt or into raw food pretty easily. They do offer a Kid's menu if you decide to bring your older ones. We'll gladly come back here and eat again.
