I had the pasta trio. Very good, it’s served in one bowl instead of separate. My wife had the chicken cacciatore. She said it is the best she has had, and she has it many places. Sister-in-law had the lasagna. It comes with house made bread. We will be back.
We got here around 7:30 and to my surprise there really wasn’t that much people dining in. We ordered the Trio which comes with Chicken Parmesan, lasagna, and stuffed shells. It was so big that we couldn’t finish the dish but it was really delicious! The chicken wasn’t my favorite but everything else was great! The cheese garlic bread was so fresh and yummy! The salad was great as well! The server attended us really well and the owner (Giovanni) was so kind and goes around to talk to the costumers! Will be back again for date night!
My husband and I went last night. Sat at a table without being offered menus or drinks for 15 minutes or so, so we left. We have been there many of times and love it, but caught them on a bad night.
I had the veal fettuccine Alfredo, which was very good. They were short staffed so we had to wait about an hour and 15 minutes for our dinner after we ordered. It was worth the wait, though.
There is not enough good things to say about this place. Came in tonight and had the wonderful waitress named Bri. She was kind, welcoming, efficient and made great recommendations. My other half had the Spaghetti & Meatballs and I had the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo. It was approximately an hour for the food to arrive but that is to be expected while it was made from scratch. We even had the pleasure of meeting the owner Giovanni he was so kind, friendly and ensured we had a wonderful visit. Will most definitely be back. The service and food we're out of this world spectacular!
Hands dowm the best family owned Italian restaurant I've ever been to. Yes they are busy, expect a wait for your food BUT IT'S WORTH IT‼ Wife and I ordered the Giovanni's special and asked to have shreded chicken added, absolutely MARVELOUS‼
Best Italian I have ever had. 8 different dishes at our table and they were all delicious. Cute place great family atmosphere
They need to learn how to run a restaurant. First they forgot to cook my order and served my family their meals. Then while my family was eating they cooked my meal but served it to another table. So after everyone at my table was done eating they finally served me food 30 minutes later. Needless to say I had them box it to go.
We scheduled a family outing for 6 that was centrally located for all of us and we chose the Cheviot area off of I-74...Giovanni's wasn't crowded on a Wednesday night thus parking wasn't an issue. We were immediately greeted and seated and our waitress was a delightful and very handy with here recommendations. It's obvious to me large family groups of 10 to 12 can be accommodated. The Trio Delight was fabulous and I had to ask for a takeout box. My wife's Fettuccine Alfredo in a butter cheese white sauce was perfect with just the right amount of garlic and Shrimp Scampi was excellent as well. Overall a great family meal at Giovanni's restaurant. Dinner rolls and side salads were good to. Serving Coca-Cola products and the wine varieties are many...P.S. Almost forgot get a Cannoli after dinner if you have room for it...We'll definitely return to this location as my brother mentioned he'll probably visit for a lunch now an again.
Giovanni’s is one of the if not the best Italian restaurants I’ve ever been to. Everything is so fresh and made to order. Garlic bread with cheese is phenomenal and the sauce that comes with it is delicious. My wife loves the chicken fettuccine alfredo and I had the fettuccine carbonara which was outstanding. Service was awesome . We will definitely add Giovanni’s on the list of our favorites and dine there more often.
