Wow, that was a rough experience. Seated myself after a wait and managed to let staff know I was getting the seafood bar. They consented. Grabbed my own silverware after asking if I could. Since drinks are served by staff I was SOL on that one. No biggie, I usually drink after the meal is done anyways. Thing is... Thing is... Next step was paying to GTFO of there. I was alone at the counter most of the time with no line except for me. Felt like I aged a decade waiting just so I could leave. I mean the food was actually okay but my time is precious.
Short staffed, had a buffet, and their dish washer missed huge chunks of cheese that were caked onto the plates that made it harder to enjoy the dining experience, since every dish/utensil's cleaned status had been put into question...Also didn't enforce any sort of masking or general keeping groups seated apart from each other,,, despite having more than ½ of the restaurant empty.Maybe this was just their off day or whatever, however it was my experience and the quality and service just wasn't enough to overlook minor things.
Attempted to eat here with my family a couple wks ago. We were told to seat ourselves and then proceeded to wait 15-20 min with no menus or service. They were not busy or full. No employees had masks on. There was a family of a different race who came in 10 min after us and whise drink order was at least taken. We finally left without ordering. We like Frischs and don't normally ever sit inside one. This was a poor experience and we won't be back to this location.
Perhaps lunchtime on a Thursday isn't the best time to go to this Frisch's. There appeared to be only two waitresses working the dining area was only at about 50% capacity at most, but our waitress seemed to be struggling to keep up. She seemed nice but overworked. She had too many tables to tend and that affected the service she was able to provide. We received what we ordered but she didn't bring silverware. We sat watching our hot food grow cold while we waited. She tended to several other tables before bringing our silverware. When she brought silverware she didn't bring enough for the entire table, so some of us continued to wait with full plates of food in front of us. We reminded her that the entrees included sides that hadn't been brought to the table yet. The sides weren't delivered until our meal was almost complete. She didn't return to provide refills on drinks. It wasn't a great experience but I don't blame the server. I blame management for assigning her too many tables which prevented her from being attentive. Our family has eaten at Frisch's for many years. We were surprised that some of the portions seemed much smaller than in the past. However, our most serious issue was with Frisch's mask policy. None of the servers were wearing masks or attempting any level of physical distancing. We rarely eat inside a restaurant anymore did to the pandemic. Today we were traveling with hungry children and decided to give it a try. Between the lower level of service we received and Frisch's no-mask policy during this new wave of infections, our larger family party all agreed to continue to eat at home for the foreseeable future. Without masks on servers, we definitely won't be eating again at Frisch's anytime soon.
The employees were a delight and the food was great. We only went through the drive-thru so I'm not sure how the inside was. The parking lot was messy but I put that off to the location. I almost didn't go because of the parking lot but I'm glad we stopped.
This particular Frisch's is never open after 5 p.m. the line is always long my food was cold. It was not good.. fish was flat cod is not a flat fish!! my sweet potato fries taste like Fish Grease I don't know what happened to Frisch's they used to be wonderful.
Absolutely terrible. I ordered 2 buffalo chicken basket with fries. These people put my buffalo chicken tenders in a brown paper bag && gave them to me just like that. No container no nothing. Once i get my refund i will NEVER return. Constant issues with this place.
Just horrible...we waited for over 6 minutes in the drive thur for a fish platter and big boy. We were told the onion rings were the hold up. The onion rings were both burned and undercooked and it was the same with the fish. No one answered the phone. The drive thur line was so bad my boyfriend decided to just go home. Of course, he threw the food away. This location will have no more chances from me. This location has had a bad reputation for a long time now, and it seems nothing will change. Very disappointing for a Cincinnati staple to be so inadequate. Please clean and change the grease in your fryer. Have a standard for what you serve!
Other than the very sweet server that was clearly working alone on the floor, everything was very subpar. My club that was 9.50 was on a hoagie bun and had bacon on it that looked days old. Very disappointing. The server needs a raise
Wonderful experience, food was delicious and staff was super friendly. Kathy is the best and made our night. Just what we needed .. ty
