Our waitress was very friendly and worked hard. We did not have issues with her service or waiting. However, there were only 4 tables.The salad bar was a mess. The mushrooms were almost black from sitting out too long.The grilled cheese sandwich was thin. The menu says 4 pieces of cheese but it was probably 2 pieces.
I thought all of the Big Boy restaurants had closed; then I was on my way to a funeral in Ohio, and there I saw several along the route. The one where I stopped for lunch was just like the Frisch's Big Boy restaurants from past. The menu was the same as always, and the burgers were just wonderful. The waiter was just wonderful. He was a young Asian man, and he did everything to make our dining experience delightful. The cooks were fast and efficient, but the two older women who seemed to be the managers that day were doing their best to do as little as possible, including seating customers and taking payments for bills. Overall, though, I was happy to have my big boy burgers, and some dessert.

great food and the service was great too. i highly recommend this location for your meal and clean restrooms and the manager was very friendly and inviting, made me feel like i was very important and happy i ate there. she also told me she looked forward to seeing me again, also to have a great rest of my day ..the personal comments was welcomed and not rushed.

The food was cold and nasty by the time I got home, and I live within 5 minutes of this restaurant! The service was not friendly and I told them 3 times to bag my order separately because of my food allergies but when they told the lady who took my order about bagging separately, who also had manager on her name tag! The lady rolled her eyes and bagged it all together and handed it to me! I immediately handed it back to her and she went behind the little half wall and as she bagged my order like she was told she rolled her eyes again and told another lady he wants it bagged separately!Well this lady a heavy set woman told her (well I told you he has food allergies) and she came back with a smile and handed me my bagged wrong food in which I didn't know until I opened the bag at home! Never again is all I have to say 2 bad visits in a row wow!!! P.S. there were 3 people in line behind me there because of food problems
Made an app order and got to the restaurant at 2:30 pm and they were closed. Made a complaint online. Money from credit card not refunded yet. Never had this kind of disappointment with Frisch's before.
They were short staffed. Took 25 minutes for the waitress to acknowlege us. She picked up dishes at the empty table accross from us before she even said hello.YEAH. i get it, youre busy but at least say hi ill be with u in a moment. Management wasnt much help to the waitress. All in all, effortless actions upon the staff. When going to check out, the manager bragged about leaving friches after 40 years of service to find a new job.
I've had to edit my review. The last two times I've visited, I observed employees getting into shouting matches with customers. One of those times, it was so intense that I left without even being seated. The food is great, but the service needs a lot of improvement.
Pictures of the Big Boy don't reflect how small the actual burger is....? Food tasted okay. Salad bar wasn't much. The $37.00 bill blew us away since we drank water.Not worth it.
