I had the hot fudge ice cream cake sundae which was delicious and bought back memories for me.
Service was great. The Big Boy sandwich was the best that I have had in a very long time. Bun was excellent, condiments were very good and the hamburger patties were outstanding. Not overdone yet not undercooked. Our experience could not have been better.
Sometimes you're just fueling up for a 3hr car ride and need a sausage biscuit to keep you going. The menu had a ton of good choices but nothing that was really hitting the mark so I opted for the buffet (Like you do). $12.95 for a lot of stuff I didn't try but it turns out that's the only way to get an endless supply of sausage biscuits.
Our waiter was great! My husband had the spicy big boy and a bowl of chili which was very good he said. I had the patty melt and onion rings. The patty melt was good but the onion rings were burnt and too hard to eat
Service used to be outstanding. I just don’t know what’s going on now. I ordered a chili spaghetti
Robert, I am really hoping that I am remembering his name correctly, was our server last Sat, he was so attentive and fun. He asked trivia questions and was very entertaining and knowledgeable. We will definitely come back and hope to have him as our server.
The fish sandwich and fries were amazing and our waiter made our evening. I can’t remember his name but he was a senior citizen, funny and very smart. I was at the Mason Montgomery rd Cincinnati location. Around 7:00- 7:30 pm. He said he has worked there 8 years. Great waiter.Kitty Sprinkle
Such a great experience!!! I've been going to Frischs, all around, since I was born, it's a convenient place with great prices!!! This time best friend and I went and we got the breakfast?☕? bar! It was Super Bowl? Sunday morning shortly after churches let out so it was B-U-S-Y. That being said, I was overly impressed by the Hot Bar attendant who kept up on restocking every thing as other disappeared rather quickly. The service itself was also wonderful, the lady was kind and efficient. She even went out of her way to assist us, hot bar was out of sausage links which my bestie was craving, not only did she inform the back on the shortage, she brought us fresh sausages so we didn't have to go up to the bar ourselves, talk about service!!
This review is for the Fields-Ertel Road location of Frisch's Big Boy.Over the past (3) months, this location has shown a positive 180° in customer service and food preparation.(. . . especially with the breakfast bar.) Items on the breakfast/soup 'n salad bar are not only replenished often, but the presentation has consistently been organized and clean.Management is incredibly responsive and shows concern to make your dining experience the best it can be. Re: service excellence; April is a fresh, positive, and is dedicated to serving your meal with a smile.Highly recommend you give this location a visit.-Chris H.
Used to be so much better. This was our first visit back in 2 years and there were a handful of people in the place on a Saturday night. Our waitress said she was supposed to already have gotten off work and there was one other person working the dining room and hanging around at tables talking with folks. The menu has gone from several pages to a much simpler menu with only 4 entrees available now other than your typical burgers and sandwiches. We ordered and after quite some time our food came out. I got a burger that was dry. My wife said the coleslaw tasted nothing like it used to and didn't even eat it, and my son's sandwich was not at all how he ordered it. While waiting for his sandwich to be remade, the rest of us finished our food and waited even longer before reminding our waitress that we were still waiting on his sandwich. When his sandwich came out, it was missing the cheese. We let it go since they took it off the bill, but I don't think we will be returning again.
