Today (05/22) was my first, but certainly not my last, visit to Eli's BBQ. Got the 8 bones (i.e. ribs) plate with cheesy grits and jalapeno cornbread. Having lived half my life in the south, I know good BBQ and Eli's is LEGIT!The ribs were perfectly smoked and I think lightly fried and dusted with more rub... WOW!!! It's very rare to find a BBQ joint where the ribs don't need or want sauce.The only thing I missed were true southern sides like collard greens and fried okra. Otherwise, definitely recommend and will be back soon.
Pretty tasty! The wings were good and the ribs were good, excellent flavor, super crispy. I feel like the ribs were flash fried, and I'm honestly not sure how I feel about that. They were super greasy (plus the crispy) which is why I assumed they were fried, and it kinda threw me off. Not bad, but the grease was pretty heavy. Don't get me wrong, eating ribs is always a messy affair, but the texture was completely different than I'm used to. Sides were pretty good as well, definitely worth a visit.I might have to go back and get ribs again to figure out how I feel about em.

Loved the pulled pork!! My first time here and EVERYTHING was delicious!! Jalapeño cheese grits, beans, coleslaw and macaroni & cheese. Will come again
We were looking for a lunch break and found this great bbq place with plenty of outdoor seating. Highly recommend the pulled,pork sandwich and the jalapeño corn bread. Smoky goodness.
My fiance and I really enjoyed our meal. We got a couple rib bones; a side of mac and cheese; baked beans and he had Jalapeno cornbread and the Ale8 to drink. This was HANDS DOWN one of the best BBQ places in Cincinnati! I didnt get a chance to take a good picture of our food once we set up our picnic area down by the river we started eating lol. But PLEASE don't just take my word for it EXPERIENCE it for yourselves! You definitely wont be disappointed ?

The Riverside location had a BBQ mood with indoor seating and portable heated tent. The service was friendly and helpful! The BBQ'd ribs were tender and moist. The pork sandwich very flavorful. Very enjoyable experience!
Made a trip to get my nephew's car fixed and my brother in law said we are eating lunch at Eli's BBQ. Let's just say the pulled pork is excellent!! Probably the best I've ever had! Will be taking the family here soon!!
