It was a great weather to dine in here as the restaurant has garage like doors that open and let the warm weather shine in.However, the food was meh, and I realized quickly that people come for the drinks and stay for the drinks. They order food to absorb the consumption of liquor.I ordered the taco salad. Why in the world would anyone put fajita veggies in a taco salad on top of refried beans ?I ate it because I was hungry and the guacamole was very good.My husband ordered the steak torta. It was very American style. If you like that sort of style, I guess it is okay. The service was mediocre. The restaurant was out of several ingredients and we couldn't order what we truly wanted. It was graduation weekend, and the server rushed us to leave. All in all, I will not come back for food. If you like Good prices on drinks, this might be the place for you. Seems like their drink specials are popular.
I had the Pollo Tacos and they were pretty good. I am a chips and salsa person and their salsa needs alot of work. It basically just tastes like tomato sauce from a can. The servers did a nice job.
- Chicken Fajita = ??????This is one of the most unassuming places I've been to for food, and I'm so glad for that. The place itself was a bit droll, but I went there around 2300 - despite that, the atmosphere was very chill and comfortable enough. The chicken fajita I ordered went way beyond my expectations! The dishes came out steaming hot, the portion sizes were very generous, and the food itself was absolutely DELICIOUS without feeling too heavy on the palate. Probably one of the best fajitas I've tasted in a very long time, and I would love to return to try more of their delicious choices.
Friendly service, laid back atmosphere, and has a pub feel to it. The food was wonderful and the price was right. I've been here 2 times and will definitely come back again.
The fish tacos are not good. Ive gone 3 separate occasions trying them hoping it was just a bad day when I had them but no. They just arent good and the restaurant needs to stop serving them or switch it up. Try something new with them because they are really the worst I’ve had in the city.
Great food and great atmosphere. The both seats was slightly uncomfortable but easily overlooked! Margarita was also delicious! ?
Ordered food via UberEats. The driver picked up food and came straight here with no stops in between. If you’ve ordered from Uber, you already know you can see their route. All but one item arrived warm. Fish tacos were ICE cold. Like, colder than it is outside currently. When I called about it, the person who answered was RUDE and apathetic. Clearly not versed in the art of hospitality. Made no effort to inquire into the issue but just brushed me off.
Food was very good, and service was on point. My only feedback would be on the speed of food prep. It was not very busy....
I am, I unfortunately, shocked how badly this place has gone downhill from when it originally opened. The "margaritas" are made with what I can only assume is either sprite or sour mix with a little sprite or club soda added on top for fizzyness (why would a margarita ever have bubbles?). I could only drink half of mine and my 2 companions had less than three sips before giving up. Margs are also not available in pitchers. The size of our food serving was good but I'm pretty sure my torta was ONLY seasoned with salt. The amount of salt made my lips tingle until well after I was finished but I was starving so I powered through... BIG MISTAKE, as all 3 of us had... "food poisinging symptoms" over the next 24 hours. This was the only time all anyone in our group had eaten together this week.I am appalled by how little care goes into this restaurant, knowing what I know about the owner and their track record. After this experience I will never go back to Drunken Taco.
Very delicious tacos! Tried chicken, chorizo, and bulgogi, each had a unique flavor and style. The taquito was my favorite, though. I only have 2 complaints: the first is that the food took quite a while to come out. The second is that the lime margarita was not great and in fact was made with rum instead of tequila. Obviously I enjoyed the food enough to not knock off a star.
