This Dewey's location has what they call a community wait staff. Once you are seated and get menus, you get overwhelmed every 2 minutes with a new face. It's disgusting. You place you order and once you receive your wonderful meal, you get bombarded again every couple minutes with someone wanting to fill up your beverage. It is totally insane and I will NEVER go there again. I could have a decent conversation with friends because of the constant interruptions. I will try and contact Dewey DeWitt or a member of his management staff.
Now a Midwestern chain, Dewey's started in Cincinnati and is well regarded for their excellent pizza, salads, and calzones. This time I'm showing off their amazing Tito pizza for the month of May, Taco pizza minus the grimy taco bell style. Really good stuff!My partner will always grab it for her family when it's on the special menu, but I'll always be done for any type of salad they offer. Large, flavorful, and with plenty of options for toppings and styles. Just like their pizza!
For my #selfcaresaturday routine, I decided to take myself out to a late lunch/early dinner. I'd never patronized any of the shops at Harper's Pointe before today. I sat at the bar solo and ordered a glass of Reisling. The bartender was super friendly and helpful, so I decided to follow her pizza suggestion by ordering the half & half. The Bronx Bomber I'd enjoyed before; however, the "limited time special" pizza she suggested was new to me! I can't recall the name of it right now; however, it had spicy mustard, sliced sausages, caramelized onions and SAUERKRAUT! I know I know, I was very hesitant at first, but I was feeling adventurous so I said "what the heck!"Surprisingly, it did not disappoint! The flavor got better with each bite and my favorite part was the spicy kick this pizza offered. I ended up devouring the entire pizza while playing sudoku on my phone. I washed it all down with a root beer and my white wine.Very pleasant experience overall! ?
Was at Dewey's for a b'day party. There were quite a few of us but we were taken very good care of. We each ordered the kind of pizza we wanted. They were delivered, put on stands for each person/couple. The food was delicious...all the different kinds of pizzas ordered. The staff were terrific helping with anything we needed. Definitely would go there again.
Generally, Dewey's Pizza is an automatic 5 star place, but not tonight. While the salads were as expected, the Green Latern typically has more cheese than this pie. Very disappointed for a pizza that is this expensive.
Always a great experience. Great server and very attentive to glass refills. Also talked us into a chocolate torte dessert. So glad we shared it. Delicious!
I had Dewey’s for the first time and I have to admit, I will never look at deep dish ever again after such a phenomenal experience (apologies to my Chicago roots, but it’s kind of a “sorry, not sorry” situation). I went to Dewey’s on a very special date and we ordered half Hawaiian and half Porky Fig. It was a very unexpected but highly pleasurable surprise to my palate. Before I had Dewey’s, I would never think that pork and fig could blend perfectly together in taste. Salty and sweet don’t normally belong together, and if they do, it’s usually a rare exception. Dewey’s didn’t only prove its possible - they made it look so effortlessly tasty! What an incredibly creative pizza masterpiece! Whoever created this recipe was a true genius and I wish I had a bigger appetite so I could try other (I’m sure!) delectable pizza creations they have - but that only gives me a reason to go back!I like the upscale look and feel of the restaurant, I think it’s a great date night venue.I’m happy to have found a new favorite pizza place and I truly look forward to our next date at Dewey’s!
Dewey's food is always good, but their service is always slow. I am pleased up report this location had us in and out on under 45 mins, which was perfect bc we were super hungry and rushing to get home before our son's bedtime. ❤️
The best. Great service and great pizza. Kids love watching the dough being tossed.
