Great traditional Asian cuisine in downtown Cincinnati (located a block behind the Aronoff Center). Open late / after 10pm. I got Pad Thai with pork and it was perfect - tasted as good as it looked. Prices are good / average. Not a large place, but it seats 20-25 people, including 4 spots at the counter. You can also get food to go / carryout plus they do the online pickup and delivery thing. Service was friendly and fast.
We had this at the Taste of Cincinnati festival. Usually my husband and I split dishes so we can try more. So it's usually like one or two bites for each of us per dish. Not this! This was a full meal and it was incredible! I might be biased because I'm I huge spaghetti and meat sauce fan and this was like an Asian version. It might be one of only a few dishes we get seconds on.
Fresh! Fragrent! Fast & Friendly Service(& Very Clean inside)Dining in at Deme was a treat! A very cute and quaint location with a friendly vibe and FANTASTIC food. Food was so fresh and delicious! I'd recommend Deme to anyone in Cincy but especially if you're coming for a show - not a far walk from the Aronoff Center. A+ music playlist. I would love to eat here again.
I order from Deme Kitchen fairly often and every time it’s excellent. Not just the food, but the service. Kind, welcoming people who always prepare delicious food. Order is always ready on time for pickup when I order online—and when I order in person, I always have a great conversation while waiting. One of my favorite neighborhood spots and favorite restaurants in general. Thank you, Deme Kitchen!
Fresh!!! Eric and Tom gave great Customer Service! My General Tso Chicken and veggies were fresh, tasty and well prepared with a great presentation! The restaurant had a great atmosphere, with great music that took me back!I will definitely visit again!Thank you for the great service!!!
SUCH a fantastic, authentic, warm, and welcoming place! Some of the most fantastic Chinese fare I've had in many years. Everything on the menu is terrific- but especially the lo-mein with tofu- seriously, if you are vegetarian don't sleep on Deme Kitchen. They also serve delicious hot Sake, and have an excellent wine and beer selection. I have been making a point to visit as often as possible, and get to know and support the wonderful family who works with love to create and keep this outstanding space. Do yourself a favor and get there ASAP. Say hi to Eric at the bar, and Tom and Anna in the kitchen. You'll be so glad you did.
First time trying this place. I’ve been looking for some good Chinese food in the area. Didn’t know it was even here. Decided to try something simple for now. The combo fried rice, pork egg roll, and chicken egg roll. The egg rolls were fantastic. You may ask how they can mess up an egg roll but you can. It was greasy and had just the right crunch and great filling! The rice was also very fresh and not 4x cooked rice doused with soy sauce. Not to mention when picking up the place has a nice atmosphere for dine in and very friendly people. I will be giving this place my continued business!
Will update this on a future visit as I felt we might have had a fluke.Placed pick up order around 1125a and was advised 30 min wait, upon arrive at 12pm they were very busy and we waited 30mins in the restaurant for pickup. Was offered complimentary tea while waiting and apologized for long times. Helpful and kind.Lunch discount combo portions were small. Will try full sized portions next time or perhaps dine in is larger.4 pieces of chicken and 3 pieces of broccoli in general chicken. General chicken was tasty, mildly sweet, hidden spicy. Would try again.Basil chicken was really salty, left tongue feeling hairy.Beef and broccoli was also salty, they used pho style sliced beef for order which was a nice difference.Fried rice, egg rolls, veggie rolls were good.
food was amazing and especially the 5 spice wing and korean bbq wing
BEST Lo mein I’ve ever had ! If you’re in the area this is a must stop place! Great food and great service and they stayed open late to feed us!
