In the American Mecca of the cheeseburger, I have tried them all. I have eaten elevated $25 burgers with unusual toppings in downtown Manhattan, NYC. I have had gigantic quadruple patty Roadhouse burgers in Texas. I have had In-N-Out burger with secret sauce in L.A. I have tried many top burger places in cities around the country, and I have had $2 plain-patty burgers in all of the roadside diners, bistros, New American pubs, etc. all around the U.S. I have eaten burgers with onion rings on them, I’ve eaten burgers with fried eggs on top, I’ve eaten burgers with every kind of cheese or sauce you could imagine. I have traveled to all 50 U.S. states and dozens of countries in South America, Europe, and Asia. All of this is not a brag, but only to contextualize that I have eaten burgers all across the world. Still, with all of these burgers, I can confidently say that Delwood stands out ahead of some of “the best burgers” in the world. Although comparison can be difficult, I will say that Delwood classic double smothered is in the top 3 burgers I have had in my life. Go check it out and decide for yourself. That is all.
An awesome bar with a great ambience. It’s situated in a very good location. The staff were great and the service was excellent. The drinks were decent and had few tapped beers. Coming to the food: 1. Yuca fries (5/5 were amazing- crispy, hot and flavorful. The sauce complemented very well. I would definitely get them and they are shareable. 2. Fish and Chips (5/5)- Fish was super soft and the crust was spot on. The fries were on point too. 3 Spicy Chicken Sandwich (5/5)- The sandwich is actually spicy (be mindful) and was excellent too. One of the best in recent times. They also have patio seating. There is street parking but on a busy evening might be hard to find. Overall a great pub. I would definitely go again.
Excellent burger. I had the El Jefe burger which had two 4oz patties, mashed avocado, a kind of salsa, and huancaina sauce. The huancaina sauce is a creamy/cheesy sauce made with peppers and garlic. It's really good and matches well with the avocado. They also have a traditional burger with American cheese that looks really good.My wife and I split the shoestring fries, which were fried perfectly. Nice and crispy but not too crunchy. They come with a kind of dijon mustard sauce which is tasty. My wife had the caesar salad with fried chicken, and she liked it. It was pretty heavy on dressing, though.Service was very professional. We had to wait a lot longer than anticipated, but they served us drinks and we were able to order a starter while we waited. Great atmosphere and great food!Seating is mostly high-tops, so be prepared for that.
If you have ever thought to yourself, “man, I’ve had the best burger ever” and you haven’t been to Delwood? You’re absolutely wrong. The classic double cheeseburger is hands down THE BEST burger I’ve ever had. And I consider myself somewhat of a burger connoisseur. I have literally not ordered anything else because I can’t stray from the absolute divinity that is the burger. Yum.
The Classic Double Cheeseburger, smothered, and add Bacon, is probably the best burger I've ever had. Not joking. PERFECT smash burgers.Daughter got a Kid's cheeseburger and a sprite and for once cleared her plate.Brussels sprouts were excellent and cold Pacifico on draft.Service was excellent, we will be back soon.
This place is wonderful. Waitress was fantastic and very personable which i just love. The burger I had was maybe the best burger I’ve had a quite a long time. Got chips and guac as appetizer and that guac was YUMMY! And the pineapple daiquiri was the bomb. Highly recommend! And can’t wait to come back and try more menu items!
I'd give it 10 stars if that was possible; Delwood is the epitome of great food coupled with even better service. From the burger to the chicken sandwiches to salads to anything on the menu, food or drink, it is always consistent and always fantastic. Trevor and his team go above and beyond to take care of their customers and provide top notch service. It does get busy (as it should!), but they do a great job of turning tables over and getting folks seated as soon as possible. We go once a week, if not more, and have never had anything less than a phenomenal experience!
I highly recommend trying Delwood! The food is extremely delicious here. It's our new favorite restaurant. The Fried Chicken BLAT salad is a must try. The music rocks and the staff is super kind and efficient here!
An very good place to have dinner with our friends with an affordable price.
I only had to dine here one time before I knew it was my favorite restaurant in the city. I will pick delwood over everything anytime it’s my turn to chose a dinner spot. The food is phenomenal & consistent. The atmosphere is great. Staff is friendly, accommodating, and fun. The drinks are great as well & you can tell the juices in the drinks are fresh. You can’t go wrong with any menu item, but my favorites are the classic double, chicken tenders, and tostones - washed down with a spicy Paloma of course.
