Deeper Roots is my go-to coffee shop anytime I'm in Cincy! I love the atmosphere and the staff is always quick, friendly and helpful with any questions I have. They also have sweet treats and goodies on deck, if you need a little pick me up throughout your day.
I stopped by today to get some coffee as a pick me up. Located two blocks south of the Duke Energy Center, this conveniently located is in the right spot. A variety of cold and hot coffee are available as well as pastries and whole bean coffee. My double espresso was not bitter or burnt and had a smooth, pleasing aroma and taste. A truly great coffee! Forget the chains and go local!

Deeper Roots has "IT". They definitely understand what people are looking for and execute it well. Even though I don't personally like coffee any of my coffee lovers I have brought here or gifted coffee too from here are blown away with the quality and taste of the coffee. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for exceptional.
Love this spot. The team do so well with everything they do. Coffee is delicious the beans are great. The look and the feel is sweet. WiFi is solid.

Started Coming here earlier this year, I've always had the espresso from other places that have carried their beans but coming directly to the coffee shop is absolutely the best, I love it here, the staff and GM are fantastic people!
Coffee shops in many cities try to be trendy without actually working a lot on what makes them distinctive and memorable. The coffee. Deeper Roots Coffee does it right. They put their heart into the coffee. The different bean types and descriptions are as accurate as they are diverse in origin and selection. DRC has a great atmosphere as well which is fresh and clean, yet homey and not bland/spartan. Many shops hire folks that can grind and pour and thats it. Their folks know the beans, understand coffee questions, and are energetic about the coffee as they are helpful. Baristas are subject matter experts on anything in the store, yet there is an aire of helpfulness and excietment about coffee and no feeling of needing to prove their knowledge, which they do anyway by their excellent service. They truly just want to spread their passion about coffee instead of look/act trendy and it shows in their product and service.
An adorable spot with friendly staff and great coffee. I got locked out of my Airbnb and luckily was really close by so walked here. They accept Apple Pay which was a godsend because my wallet was in the locked building ? everyone was wearing their masks and washing their hands, great price for the drinks. Would absolutely go back!
Killer cold brew and a quiet setting to do some end of the weekend work. It was a little too chilly to sit on the patio in the shade, but the beautiful indoor seating area wasn’t crowded on a Sunday around 4:30. Will definitely be back!
