Came for a quick dinner on a Monday night. Love their variety, roll size/value.$17 for 3 rolls (2 normal, 1 specialty, small bottle of Kirin beer) while dining in the restaurant.
My first sushi experience, and I'll happily return. I have a new understanding as to why it's my daughter's beau's go-to for dates and just to hangout. I enjoyed Made in China and Philly rolls, and the Made in China would have been enough for me. Parking was a hot mess at 6pm on a Tuesday, but not so much as to deter me from returning at the same time in the future.
I have been a patron of this establishment for over 8 years, and haven’t had a bad experience until now. I spent over $40 on takeout. One of the rolls tasted foul, and had a very strong fishy scent. I tried a second slice and promptly spat it out. The other rolls in my order were, sub par. Definitely not up to their previous offerings. I phoned to let them know about the above concerns and was basically dismissed. Sorry to say that they’ve lost me, my family and friends as customers. Will be looking for another sushi bar. Hoping to not experience food poisoning.
We had to wait long time to get our food served. School speed limit on their speed service. Also, is it common when we already got gratuity on our bill then we still have to pay additional tips? I prefer their 2 other sushi restaurants in Covington or Kenwood comparing to this store.I just enjoyed watching their big screen to watch NBA Playoffs. I'm sorry.
Amazing spot, large variety of sushi. They offer fried sushi, that's right get your favorite sushi roll fried. You can get a sweet potatoe sushi roll, salad, lettuce wraps, salmon fried rice Prices are fair considering sushi rolls are 50% off all the time. Highly recommend either carry out or dining in
Excellent food with an amazing customer service inside and also food is at minimum cost than other sushi restaurant.
We love the sushi at this place but the wait to sit is always 30-45minutes. The few times I did take out I literally waiting 1hour and 20mins for my order . When I order over the phone (@6:00pm) they said itll be ready by 6:45pm. I got there at 6:45 - at 7:00pm they told me theyre bagging my sushi - at 7:24pm I got my sushi. All the take out orders were taking forever while doordash pick up orders were FAST. Doesnt doordash take a big cut? Isnt it smarter to prioritize people who are paying you full price + takeout tip?!
Bad customer service. They told us 25 to 30 minutes we waited a whole 1hr to be seated, then when we were seated, we wanted a booth and we were told by a different server with such an attitude that "If he told us to sisbat our original table to sit there"...very rudly. Me, my sis, n niece felt races vibes. we were the only African AMERICANS there.
Went to Cloud 9 for Valentine’s Day. Didn’t know they had entrees and we’ve been going here forever. The Chicken Katsu and the Chicken Yakisoba were amazing. Got sushi as well and it was as good as always.
If you aren't in sweatpants, comfy clothes, or workout garb you'll feel out of place. The food is delicious, has a hole in the wall vibe, and again, dress down. Zero need to dress up. I felt too dressed up in jeans haha. Never had a bad piece of food from here. Top notch food here with a no frills environment. It's almost like how can food that good come out of a place looking like that, but it does!
