***UPDATED REVIEW:Ms. Elizabeth Wagner, director of training, contacted me personally and made it right. She apologized profusely for the error to our orders, and since speaking with her every order coming from OTR City Bird has been correct for my brother. She mailed us meal tickets to use in store, and I’m very satisfied with the response. So is my brother :)I absolutely hate this restaurant, particularly this store. The Crestview Hills store is fine. Unfortunately they are out of our delivery area and this one is the only one that will deliver to us via door dash.This store continually forgets food, usually a side order of fries, nearly every time we order. My younger autistic brother loves this place and is very picky - the only reason we continue to order from here. I am so fet up with this place. Calling them does no good. Emailing corporate does no good. I can request a refund, but door dash won’t refund the delivery fee. So even if I went to reorder the item they originally forgot, I’d still have to pay delivery again. Ugh!!!!!!!!! This places owes us so many orders of French fries, I could build a damn bridge to France and get them myself.
Unique smaller sized chicken tenders with tasty seasoning and lots of sauce options. I loved the City sauce. The Cole slaw was fantastic! I will be back.
Light breading was nice. Chicken was tender, but too spicy. Even the French fries had some spice on them. Not my preference but if you like a little kick, give them a try.
Normally great, we often place large orders for our company meals, but lately - order are incomplete (items missing), and arrive cold - especially when DoorDash delivers (avoid). The worst is calling in - the management / staff couldn’t care less. Normally City Bird is the best place to grab food quickly - but lately, huge drop in service and quality.
Best spicy chicken sandwich ive ever had!!!!!! Im from chicago traveling out of state and happened to come across them. The ranch and tenders were really good too, and the way they prepared their fries were very tasty with the fresh seasoned topping, but that sandwhich!!!!
Edit: I called and had a chat with the general manager and she completely rectified the problem. Was very kind and told me that this business doesn't stand for behavior like this and that the employees involved would be retrained. Thanks so much for following up with thoughtful customer service!I called my order in today at 12:30 for just A simple spicy sandwich. The server Dee ' Monta took my order, told me the time, 5 minutes, and I came 20 minutes after that time.When I arrived, my order was not placed. He told me he couldn't hear me on the phone and even though I told him what I wanted and reconfirmed, he never placed the order ?Did he offer me a free lemonade, a bonus chicken tender, a fry, a coupon, a discount? No. He blames not being able to hear me, on me. There was never a time when he told me that he couldn't hear me, or that it was hard to hear. So although I called my order in early because I knew I would be in a time crunch, I still had to wait.The kicker, and the reason I'm writing this is when I asked to speak to the manager, he stopped looking at me, clearly annoyed, says "oh my God", looked at the next person and asked what they wanted to order?I know working in food is hard, and you usually have to deal with less than friendly people, so I usually don't write anything if things don't go 100% fine. But this was the rudest I've ever been treated in a restaurant.The food is delicious, the fries are scrumptious, but I will definitely not be back to this location. I've had numerous problems in the past with this location similar to this in terms of surprisingly really low quality customer service. A true shame.
I ALWAYS order from here being that I have an office nearby, HOWEVER, today will be the last time I patronize this place! It has nothing to do with the food, (even though lately it’s been touch and go)it has everything to do with the LACK of customer service! One young lady in the front was trying her best to be pleasant but she was over shadowed by the loud and rude one who was bagging the orders! I stated I had a pickup order and she IMMEDIATELY asked for my phone. I stated my phone was in my car, to which she rudely urged that I go retrieve it, mind you this conversation is being had all whilst her back is turned. The more pleasant young lady asked was it online and I said yes NOT Doordash, which then the rude girl asked my name and threw my bag up on the counter. Being that I’m civilized I still said “thank you” to which she said nothing. Clearly the staff needs to be trained in customer service, as it seems that EVERYONE in the front hates ppl and their jobs! Too bad I won’t be back to see if this changes! Never a pleasant experience here.
If you like juicy chicken tenders this is the place!! The soule chili tender sandwich with the coleslaw is the bomb! Get it to go to have a beer with it because it has a kick to it! The fries are good and crispy also! I'll be back to try the rest of the sauces!
staff was cool, friendly, and a lot of fun.like a lot of chicken places. I don't enjoy them quite as much anymore. they haven't changed this place is that good. if you haven't tried it. you should.
This was the Large Pack I received on my pickup order. $15.35 supposed to contain 8 to 9 tenders and I only got 5! Fries at the bottom of the basket were also hard.You can tell the workers in front don’t like their job. Not sure why they work there but anyways. They lack customer service skills. They don’t ever greet you. Just ask if you have a pickup. But only after you’ve waited 8 to 10 minutes. I love the food but was so disappointed this time around. City Bird lost a loyal customer tonight.
