Very good food at exceptionally good prices. I have never had a Malaysian dish, but now l want to try even more! If l lived nearby l would probably get the Honey Pork Chop sandwich every day. It is biggest, fattest, juiciest sandwich.
I never leave reviews but I wanted to help this place have the reputation it deserves. My girlfriend and I saw the head chef and owner greet a table of 8 and if they liked the food, and if they liked the new version of the dish one of them tried (I assume they were regulars). The gentleman that took our order was informative and enthusiastic about the dishes they offered and gave us legitimate recommendations. Now, my girlfriend is not as big on Asian cuisine as I am but she wanted to try this place with me since I’d mentioned it before, she wound up not enjoying what she ordered very much even though I found it delicious, and they did not charge us a dime for it.When I think of an intimate dining experience my mind will now go to Sago. Smaller restaurant with an owner and chef that cares for his customers and the quality of his food. Definitely a gem hidden in Mt Lookout. I will be returning soon, and I hope whoever reads this decides to try Sago out because they deserve the business and you deserve the experience they offer.
Went there today with 9 other couples and we were blown away with the food. The place was booked by us as a private event, and Chef Paul churned our one amazing dish after the other. There isn’t a place I Cincinnati other than here, that serves Pepper crab and they do, at least on soevisl request, it seems. Wow. It was great, and service was great as well. They are available for private events certain days of the week. Even the regular menu food is great, but this just blew us all away. Thank you, Chef Paul, and your team!
One of the best meals I've ever had. The roast duck was prepared perfectly and had a really nice flavor. We tried all of the appetizers and they all were outstanding. The mango boba was so good and I tried the coffee jelly boba too. WOW. So much flavor in everything. 5 stars is not enough.
We celebrated Chinese New Year here with their 6-course dinner.Food was excellent! The chef came out and told us a story about the meaning and tradition of the food during Chinese New Year. Dishes is all prepared in house. Nothing is bought or frozen. You can see the staff working in the back for authenticity. Reasonably priced. Lots of variety.Service was swift and polite. Plates were cleared quickly in time for new entrees. Store was clean and well maintained. Bathroom too.Atmosphere is small and intimate. No loud music. Basic decor. Lots of fruit and paper lanterns for celebration. We had a wonderful experience. I strongly recommend this restaurant for anyone in the Cincinnati area.
Total gem in Mt. Lookout! Glad we tried it. We ordered the hainan chicken, BBQ pork and the vegetarian meal, all authentic and very delicious. Small and clean dining area, friendly staff and great service. We'll definitely come back to try other dishes, e.g. roasted duck! Highly recommend.
The best Asian food we had in Cincinnati! especially the Roast Duck and rotisseries.Highly recommended. They serve Malaysian cuisine too, like Nasi Lemak and Roti Canai!
Great place to grab a quick and delicious bite! Very interesting panasian dishes.
Authentic South East Asian food. Recommend the roast duck, crispy and juicy. The staff is very friendly
Some of the best Asian food I’ve had in Cincinnati, ever. The roast duck noodles were delicious. Small, humble, and quiet gem.
