Maaaaan came here and was blessed with the Eugene Goss performance and got included in the show !! This place is amazing was highly recommend and I will definitely be coming back.

Saw one of my favorite local live performers at Caffe Vivace. Manhattan cocktail was made excellently. Although I was disappointed with my double espresso. Great place to see a live show and take in amazing jazz music. Customer service was exceptional.

Most excellent! A real jazz venue featuring great local musicians and national acts. Great coffee and libations plus an attentive staff.

Fantastic!! Mike wade and the group were excellent would love to hear them again. We will definitely be back.

I’ve been here twice for coffee and each time it was like déjà vu. It Reminds me of a an old coffee shop in New Orleans called Uprivers Cafe. The hospitality here at Caffe Vivace is everything. The atmosphere is peaceful. So welcoming. Feels like home. I will return.

Very classy and diverse. The music was fantastic. The workers were very hospitable. Great atmosphere. I'll give it a 9 out of 10.

Nice clean jazz lounge, wide open sound, friendly owner and staff, appreciative crowd. There doesn't seem to be a bad seat in the house. Drinks were delicious. We came for the Jeff Hamilton Trio, so it can't get any better than that. Wish we lived closer.

When I went visited for a jazz show, it was fantastic. Great performance. Great service. A good mix of fun drinks, including a variety of mules and seasonal drinks. However, when I went back another time for lunch the service was dreadfully long. The food and coffee drinks were very good, but not worth the hour plus wait my group sat there for. If you visit, I recommend the African Peanut Stew and any of the drinks on their menu.

I went to Caffè Vivace to see some live jazz, and there were 2 performances that night. It was easy to locate where it was, and there's free parking very close by after 6pm, which is nice, due to it being a jazz lounge after 6pm. Before 6pm it's a cafe/coffee shop with breakfast sandwiches and a wide selection of coffee. I arrived around 9pm, and watched the first quartet finish up their set. There was a charge to sit to help pay the musicians, $10 for a stool and $20 for a table, though for tables this fee can be split (on their website it says this fee is variable and can change). There is also a $10 drink minimum per person, per set of musicians. I have need up getting food and a drink, and the food did help cover this, which I greatly appreciated. It also seems like they aren't the most strict about this as long as you order something, though that may be due to how many people were there. When the jazz musicians are performing, they have a silent policy where you cannot talk during the performances. This isn't set in stone, as you can still order and talk with those next to you, so long as you are being quiet and not bothering the musicians or the other customers who may be listening. The people who attend these are fairly diligent about this rule, and when someone was talking when I went the band nonchalantly mentioned they followed Caffè Vivace's rule of silence during performances, and that person did not break the rule again. The drinks are served fairly quickly with a low crowd, but if it's a full house the drinks can take some time to arrive, as they make and deliver them first come first serve. All the employees are very nice and friendly, and the food and drinks prepared tasted great. This is also friendly towards those under 21, with other drink options available–I recommend their hot chocolate, it tastes incredible! Past 10pm, the performances are typically youth jazz performances, though I don't know if that is every night they have live music or simply when I went, though the turnout was easily 15-20 college students (which amounted to an almost completely full house). I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and recommend other check it out if you get the chance!

First time visiting and had a great time! The music was fantastic and the drink menu quite extensive.
