Staff was extremely helpful when I had questions. I am often pretty indecisive and there were so many options here. It definitely took me a while to figure out what I wanted but loved the shake I tried. Alcohol shakes are delicious here. Will be back to try more.
Can't come to Cincinnati without stopping here. Great ice cream made with Nitrogen. Buzzed or non buzzed options.
If I could give zero stars I would. I put in order just for them to process and take money from my account then notifying order was ready and they were waiting on a dasher. So to my surprise the dasher called stating the cashier is saying they never received an order and asked if I could confirm the processing charge and that if the order was cancelled or not. I told it's showing charged on my bank statement and I could see him and the restaurant now. The cashier then stated if it doesn't come across her tablet then I didn't put in order and that there is nothing to be done. I will never try to order from here again with horrible customer service like this in display.
Meh. Out of towners here for a fun weekend. Stopped by Buzzed Bull to try some nice alcohol infused icecream/milkshakes.... pretty disappointing. The concept is sweet, but delivery is lacking. They make you use a touchscreen kiosk to order. They don't tell you to use the kiosk, so you just wait until you figure it out. Its wayyy too confusing as theres too many options to choose from. Theres also only one kiosk so a huge line develops and just takes forever. The kiosk isnt even near the menu board so unless you whip out your phone and check the menu from their website, you have no idea what to get until you get to the kiosk. If you try to check the menu board, you lose your place in line. They need to add more kiosks or remove the option all together and start taking orders in person. Up until this point of the review, we havent received our order yet... so hopefully the milkshake redeems this experience.UPDATE:Had the milkshake and....pretty tasty! I got the Orange Dreamsicle Milkshake w/Orange Smirnoff. Not overly boozy. A little thin. Overall very pleasant. If it werent for the poor customer experience, I may come back. But, this is good enough for now.I understand that they are currently understaffed, so I want to give them the benefit of the doubt. If they fixed a couple of things, like communicating with their customers, it would be a much better experience.
Went here Sat evening, they took forever to fix what I ordered. when I asked did they forget about my order the lady got mad said something rude and stormed off. when I asked what was said the lady said oh nothing, I asked for my money back and she became argumentative and refused to give my refund. I will never come here again.
In one word, this place was: disappointing.We visited this location for dessert on a Saturday evening. It was busy, but not crowded. Only two people on staff, though, so the wait was longer than anticipated.They ran out of cookies, so a third of their menu was unavailable and there was no indication that was the case prior to ordering. Since we chose to add booze—because that’s the gimmick of the place, we couldn’t get a refund, because according to the staff, Ohio state law doesn’t allow refunds on alcohol. As a result, we chose two regular ice creams with alcohol.One of the ice creams didn’t taste like it had booze. The ice cream itself wasn’t anything special—I am biased, because I make my own ice creams, so I can compare on that note.While we ate our ice cream, other customers were waiting and asking about their order. After which the staff, quite rudely, responded to customers that they were going as fast as they could and customers would just have to wait. No refunds on booze also meant that customers couldn’t get their money back. It was a spectacle that was both unfortunate and off-putting.Skip this place. The décor is neat, but while the concept is novel, the execution is lacking.
The concept is great and the product tastes really good but unfortunately it was all ruined by the horrendous service. I have never experienced worse customer service in my life, especially in a place that should be as fun as a boozy ice cream bar. We were so disturbed by the awful service that we spent most of our treat time processing and discussing the horrible service. I would definitely suggest ordering online in advance so you don't have to deal with the people...
They were RUDE! Don’t waist your time or money here. When questioned as to whether or not they forgot my friend’s order they made comments about how there were only 2 people working. They were quite upset that we asked about my friend’s order however, they had no problem getting out the orders of 3 customers who came in and ordered AFTER HER! Refused to provide a refund or contact information for their higher ups. Not only will I not EVER spend $11 in there again for subpar products but I also will not support a business that is so comfortable being rude to their customers. I see another review on here complaining about the service… I should’ve listened. I will 100% be contacting the Better Business Bureau.
Super helpful and friendly staff that helped explain everything about their menu! The ice cream was phenomenal, and my partner was a big fan of her buzzed ice cream. Id recommend to anyone looking for something sweet in OTR!
My husband walked in there to get a milkshake and the place was empty with the exception of the 1 person who walked in before him. The woman preferred her ice cream and then my husband ordered his… after ordering he waited 15 minutes and then was told it would be another 2 minutes because he couldn’t stop talking to the woman that ordered her ice cream. Finally told the worker to refund our money and forget the shake. Now we know why the place is always empty. Terrible customer service.
