Austin was our server and was knowledgeable and attentive. Food was very good but somewhat overpriced. Will try again though!
An awesome bar area but not where were wanting to be seated. Unfortunately, even with a reservation, that was the best they could do. We did get moved to a comfortable booth by a front window so they did try to accommodate us. The restaurant has a casual, upscale vibe, the staff is hip and very professional, well trained. The service was perfect! The cocktails, classics and as good as any I've ever had. Empanadas as appitizers w/green and red chimicuri sauce, amazing! We shared a half of grilled romaine (served as a half whole head of romaine and a chopped wedge salad (romaine in place of the traditional iceburg), both were terrific, the chop wedge was my fav. My GF got the filet med rare and done to perfection. I had to go with the grilled skirt steak, something I've made often at home, this was grilled to perferction, juicy and the chimicuri sauce, bursting with flavor. We shared fries and roasted brussel sprouts (with all sorts of yummy bits). Finished by sharing chocolate pot de creme and a blond irish whisky. I also had a secont bourbon cocktail. A $200 dollar meal with a $50 dollar tip and well worth every penny for the amazing food and service. an memorable experience I will not forget.
Our server, Ethan, was excellent. He was very attentive without being too much. His suggestions were spot on, starting with the bruschetta which was an amazing flavor explosion, continuing on to the NY strip that melted in my mouth and even the whiskey cocktail he recommended was delicious. I would recommend Butcher and Barrel to anyone for almost any occasion.

Amazing server. She knew her job! And was kind. Food was AMAZING. We are from Canada, I would actually drive to come back it was that good.
The food and flavors were great! The name of the restaurant does not do the food justice. The group I was with was surprised by the Argentinian flavors and they loved all of the dishes. The steaks and short rib were cooked perfectly..The empanadas were greatâ¦you will not be disappointed if you choose Butcher and Barrel.
Sampler plate was fair some of the meats had too much fat and were grisly.
The food wasnât as good as the last time I was there. Could have been due to the customization on the dishes we ordered, so I donât count this place out. I had the braised short rib gnocchi the first time I went and it was amazing except that I would either increase the meat or decrease the gnocchi. The empanadas are amazing for an appetizer, my absolute favorite. I also got to choose from one of four desserts as a free birthday treat so that was nice.
